They used 4 diferent boats total in the production of the T.V. series all are documented in doing so. Also there were 50 total "Miami Vice" Edition Scarabs built while the T.V. series was on the air. They built them in all the Scarab line-up from the 21' scarab 1 to the 38' Scarab KV Just AWESOME AWESOME boats of the time.

Actually That sun pad hatch WAS used in at least one Vice episode. It was one of the episopdes With Sheana Easton As Caytlin Davies

Scarab Miami Vice "Edition" about 55 built. Different paint scheme (centre stripe runs right to stern, not midships like TV boat. One piece engine hatch as stated)Still awesome though :)
