If you've just discovered this band and this song, and love it, I highly recommend you get their albums - "Rocket From The Crypt - Hot Charity/Cut N Play, Rocket From The Crypt - All Systems Go 2, Rocket From The Crypt - Scream Dracula Scream."
Then buy all of these other excellent albums that Speedo "the lead singer" had a hand in as lead songwriter or co-writer - "The Sultans - Shipwrecked, Hot Snakes - Audit In Progress, Drive Like Jehu - Yank Crime, The Night Marchers - See You In Magic."
first band I ever saw live and that was on the strength of listening to on a rope and saw them on several other occasions such a great band with a unique sound
Great song and great concept. It's a real shame they were about 10 years too early. Too many people just didn't get the style and the sound back then. If they tweaked their thing a bit they could be filling arenas today...
i sucked it up and saw them live recently. I didnt think it would be so great having seen them many times back in the day. It was awesome. The only thing that sucked was that god damn kids band part they do now. its so old!
I no, rite? I saw them 2 years ago when American Idiot first came out, and it was pretty good, except all the American Idiot songs and all the 12 year olds.
Whatta bunch of poseurs! Whatta bunch of Hives wannabes! Just kidding. If you like this, you should check out Rocket From The Crypt's lead singer's other bands' vids (Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu) or go to his uber cool record label website, swamirecords(dot)com.
Hypercool!!!

Awesome album; in an ideal world it would have spawned at least half a dozen top ten singles.
