to reach the deep roots you need to water the plant till a little bit comes out the bottom. wait till the top 1/2 inch of soil is dry and then saturate the entire soil again.

And There are two other things growing in the video. 1 a pineapple and 2 a potato. I actually just wanted one or two tomato plants yet every seed from the package grew so i felt like i had to keep them alive. soon it will be salsa time!

the smaller plant was root bound that is why it did not grow as big as the others try planrting in bigger pots may have better luck
