works by 4 exhaust fans all releasing 1000 bar pressure at once at the bed of the deepest end. displaces the base of the pool to create the wave. the pressure can be turned up at request to make bigger waves. alot of the guys that come to surf after the park closes ask to turn it up. its allowed to run 4 fans at 300 bar each at maximum. used to be a lifeguard there.

@ideas4841 Yes it is called Typhoon Lagoon and it is located near downtown Disney in Orlando. Make sure you go on a sunny day, because once they see rain or lightning they close the pool and if it continues, they close the park.

That Wave It Awesomee I Spent Most Of my Time In That Wave Pool But when i went a siren went off to show the wave was about to come its well fun my uncle chucked me on top of the wave and my head didnt go under.
