  • It's hard to believe that vermont soaps uses organic oil for the volume that they produce. Furthermore, organic means nothing anymore because the entire program was desinged to allow Big Food.to charge more while diluting the standards and betraying the orginal concepts of the importance of naturally grown food. "Organic" is big business.

  • @donttellmethetime maybe hard to believe that we use only organic oils, but absolutely true! The oils are also food grade, and I have smelled, felt and even eaten every oil that goes into our soap. We know that the best ingredients lead to the best soap, and we've been in the business since 1992 offering real organic products at a price anyone can afford.

  • How many % of superfat do you use to make liquid soap? Do you have problem with rancidity? Do you have to bring pH down by adding critic acid or borax? Thanks

  • @123mootoo our soaps will last for years, so rancidity is not a real concern. It's almost always used up long before then. We do not add any citric acid or borax to our soaps.

  • How do you keep the soap from solidifying? How do you get it to stay liquid?

  • In this case KOH is used to create a product which remains a liquid.
