what are you using for reverb? i also have the JSX and i cant seem to get any good tones on the crunch and ultra channels

Try using an eq pedal. The JSx is highly sensitive to what goes into the amplifier it seems. I an eq either in the front or in the effects loop. I'm using a boss rv-5 for reverb in the effects loop.

@Markland012 I'm guessing your JSX has a problem. You should be able to get get great tone with everything set at 12:oclock. Especially on the crunch channel.
