you suppose to hold down 5th string on 2nd fret while you let go of 4th string on 4th fret...and with 6th string 3rd fret you suppose to hold it down too...dont let go of the strings while you let go of the 4th string 4th fret
Hey man this was a really good demonstration. I was about to buy a BOSS Super Chorus pedal, but the Electro Harmonix Chorus pedal sounds so much better
i ordered one, but only getting it in like 2-3 weeks, your demo really rocks, it really gives me a idea of what i will be able to produce with the pedal... this is how all demo videos for pedals should be, ( playing the same riff over and over )... to really hear the difference.
The first part really shows off the various tones quite well - the simple playing (I think) helps. I own this pedal and to my ears it's the best analogue chorus I've heard (and I never liked a certain grunge band!). The only letdown is the fragile box and bloomin' loud switch which makes it hard to record with.
I had the vintage small clone about 9 years ago. These went way up in price what with all the cobain fans, I eventually sold it for a whopping $350 before they reissued them, wish I kept it, I can't find any originals now.
Absolutely! The new ones -although acceptable, cannot hold a candle to the vintage ones due to the (now out of production) unique Panasonic RETICON chip used in the original versions. I also had the intention of selling my vintage Small Clone but backed off as all of the RI's I've listened, sounded considerably worse than my original one.
but why use a chorus pedal? lol it sounds like your guitar is out of tune at all times. just put some reverb from your amp. I hope you didn't pay much for that pedal
I agree. not even my friend who, has been playing for 2 months, can mess that up. thats one of the first riffs you learn on guitar, before you get an amp, before pedals. seriously man (not to you FiMD, to the guy in the vid) do you even know barre chords yet?
Yes, I know my techniques, and I am actually better at 'One' than the video shows, just that I always fuck up in front of a camera. This video was intended for my mates who know how good/bad I really am
Electric guitar -> male-male jack lead -> chorus pedal -> shorter male-male jack lead -> distortion pedal -> male-male jack lead -> amp
All you really need are the two pedals, three jack leads, your guitar and your amp. You can arrange the pedals either way round; I prefer chorus first, it's up to you.
Yup, same thing as guitar-amp lead, two normal ones for the guitar to pedal and pedal to amp, but you might want a short one for connecting the two pedals together
Oh shit I didnt know harry potter knew how to shred!! JK - sorry!! lol You just look so much like him ( only metal!! ) and the accent I just couldnt refuse!!
Great demo though - I had an original vintage style Small Clone from the 80s but I sold it - dumbest thing ive ever done!!!
ya your gonna have to remake this man!!!

What do i need to get in order to use the chorus pedal and a distortion pedal at the same time, like you are?
robertmaxwellproduce 3 years ago

mypublicselfdestruct 3 years ago
you mean jack lead as in the cord that goes from the guitar to the amp? or something different?
robertmaxwellproduce 3 years ago
Yup, same thing as guitar-amp lead, two normal ones for the guitar to pedal and pedal to amp, but you might want a short one for connecting the two pedals together

hey wat the hell happens if i use a bass instead?
robertmaxwellproduce 3 years ago
If I had a bass, I'd tell you, but i don't. The Big Muff works great on bass, though, so this should work ok too.
mypublicselfdestruct 3 years ago
I bet this would work great for nirvana's "come as you are".
robertmaxwellproduce 3 years ago
Y'know, it would, cos Kurt Cobain used the exact same pedal...
mypublicselfdestruct 3 years ago
