The FDA states nothing about how fluoride is safe to humans. All they say is that it prevents cavities and in some cases too much fluoride on the teeth stats to decay them. They never say its safe to ingest. I still want a accurate claim that fluoride is safe for a human.

The only people ever effected by this additive, when it is used as intended, are those with a condition that makes them sensitive to it, such as an allergy. Also that there are no documented cases of fluoridated water causing illness or deaths. Wanna check the safety, go to the FDA's website. I think the facts I just listed speak for themselves.

The FDA states nothing about how fluoride is safe to humans. All they say is that it prevents cavities and in some cases too much fluoride on the teeth stats to decay them. They never say its safe to ingest. I still want a accurate claim that fluoride is safe for a human.
Oh and yes there has been claims of fluoride being harmful to someone and making them ill.

-Bone loss, in some cases people report having arthritis when in fact the fluoride has weaken their bones to where it hurts.
-Reduced IQ, Fluoridated in water has been reported in lab rats to lower IQ significantly.
-genetic damage.
-Interrupts with the immune system.
-enzyme inhibition.

Ok, IQ in lab rats? LOL. And all of the effects you list are if fluoride is taken in great quantities, not in the amounts consumed by people in drinking water. Again, there are no documented cases where a doctor has listed flouride as the cause of an illness UNLESS the person has ingested large amounts of the stuff. Kinda like if you ingest large amounts of tylenol. So again, in the amounts in drinking water, it is harmless.

And, again, I never said it wasnt harmful, I said that in the amounts that are used in water and things such as toothpaste, it is not harmful. Would dentists use it if it were harmful? As for your warning label, you will also find those on aspirin, alcoholic beverages, advil, tylenol, mouthwash, etc. Doesnt mean that those things are harmful to people when they are used as directed.

Umm, just so you know, ulcers are caused by a bacteria and not by the Excedrin. The Excedrin may have aggravated the ulcer, causing it to hurt, the stomach to produce acid that further aggravated it, but it did not cause the ulcer. I never mentioned that I spent 4 years in nursing, did I ? Oooops. Sorry about that one.

Aspirin is not the cause. LOL. It is the bacteria that causes the ulcer and aspirin or other things aggravate the ulcer. The bacteria actually causes the ulcer. Btw, that mucus lining protects the stomach wall from acid strong enough to burn a hole thru carpet. Do ya really think that aspirin could get thru that? Suggest you do a little more research.

Only about 20% of ulcers require medical intervention. Most can have painful symptoms treated with otc medications until the underlying infection clears itself. An ulcer only hurts if the mucosa is penetrated deep enough to expose the stomach lining to irritants. Some ulcers dont penetrate that deeply and are never even sensed by the patient.
