Bands that have similar sounds tour together (metal bands tour w/ other metal bands, rappers w/ other rappers, etc). You're not going to see a tour w/ Slayer and TV on the Radio. So the fact that Bush and Nickelback are on tour together means they (the two bands) think they have a similar sound.
