  • That's NOT how you do it!

  • nothing like side loading the gear lol

  • Flaps on a crosswind landing? tisk tisk...

  • I'm not a real world pilot by any means, but shouldn't you have flaps set for windspeed and aircraft approach speed? They were set to half but show as full in the replay.

  • it really depends on the wind. if its a light 5 knot crosswind. go ahead use full flaps. but usually in 7 or more i like to keep the flaps at around 20 degrees and just use a little less rpm to get it down. usually about 1300 and then on short final i can almost keep it at idle the whole way in.

  • The amount of flaps used during a crosswind landing really depends on the wind conditions! Depending on the aircraft, most use around 20 degrees of flaps, anymore could cause excessive floating. The increase in surface area increases lift during high winds and cause the airplane to essentially rise into the air when you don't want it to!:)

  • How did you get that wheel spray? or is that just damage to your nose wheel?

  • Its actually snow blowing from under the aircraft. In FSX as soon as you hit 15% throttle it shows. Same with rain!
