well, it really depends on what you use a computer for. For the general amount of youtubers out there (personal use, mostly), Windows is clearly win. However, the Mac is particularly useful for multimedia applications, as well as other professional stuff related to that, so if you happen to be someone like Johnny Chung Lee (or at least comparable, lol), then the Mac isn't a bad choice.

yeah, but I think the mac is such a more versatile computer, and there are equivslents for almost all the programs there is for any other OS, and if there aren't a equivalent then you can install windows, linux or whatever you want.

Actually there is a large disbalance between the number of programs available to Windows compared to Mac (windows having a lot more). However, the disbalance is from the miscellaneous (random, lol) programs that a lot of users liked to download from the net. If you're talking about mainstream stuff (movie makers, Adobe Reader, Quicktime, Word, etc.), then yes, the Mac is not lacking.

Yeah, if you look at the numbers of how many programs windows has and mac has, then mac will lose. But the only program that i haven't found an equivalent to, is artmoney.

And if I wanna use that program I can start up windows via VMware and i have all the programs of both OS.

You cant run Mac OS X on a PC (legally).

vista doesn't "counts" (sic) because it is a HORIBBLE piece of BLOATWARE. This is like a shitty XP expansion for something (Aero) that necessitates having 2 gigs of RAM to even run. Beryl for Linux does it better, cheaper (it's free), and you don't need 2 gigs of RAM to use it.
