@kyle989cay Yes. The Band of Brothers were fighting a real war. They had to face the German Army at Bastogne. When you see it, the Pacific War on the land was quite small. The real big stuff was naval warfare. Hanks should have concentrated on that. My father and uncles fought in the Battle of Rapido River and the Battle of Maleme. These were small, but as big as Saipan, but not known in the US.

@nj09w Forcing people to drink large amounts of water to gain information is not new. It was used by Australians during the Vietnam war. Extreme interogation method, even torture is completely unacceptable, but unfortunately many soliders become desperate and resort to these method. To say that the Japanese were special in their methods of warfare is just plain wrong. We should not ignore the past, but not just tell one side of it either. That is where "Pacific" fails.
