I look forward to all of your you tube videos. You have shown quite a bit but if you shape this perfect patch panel but can not weld it in correctly it is all in vane. I believe understanding exactly what is happening to the metal during the welding process is very important but not nearly as important as how to correct it.
I have my methods that work for me but I am really curious on what your method of metal finishing a weld seam is.
Lazze, love your stuff! There is a whole community out here who are building Lotus 7 clones from scratch in their garages. It's a simple car, and most of the body work is just flat panels with some straight bends over the tubing structures of the chassis.
The holy grail for these folks is to be able to fabricate the 2 pieces that we typically end up buying as pre made fiberglass, which are the nosecone, and the back wheel tubs. If you could show us how, that would be GREAT!
lazze make some "difficult" floor boards with the beadroller and tips to avoid warpage and distortion,i have had some problems with the sheet metal warping diagonally making larger repair pieces with the beads inter facing with eachother?? maybe not a problem for some but for me and my friendss we can't figure out what to do exept going over with a shrinker/stretcher were it's possible, took your class with oskar 2 years agot
