Well, I might be wrong because I haven't seen it in a while. But when Aiden was fired, Lindsey wasn't there. In this episode, they return to this case and the actress that plays Aiden returns as the role.

So really, she's just there in flashbacks.

i remembered watching a documentary on rape victims, and one of those victims did the same thing as Aiden- leaving a bite mark

i missed Aiden, it was quite a shock that she's dead

I remember watching the episode where Mac fired Aiden; then saw this episode a few weeks later & when they indentified Aiden's charred corpse, I was in shock...Aiden was smart enough to leave the bite mark behind so they'd nail DJ Pratt in the end even after her death.

I just finished watching this episode. the title is quite ironic - "Heroes".

I feel sad that she had to die. last week i watched the last episode of csi vegas season 8, and warrick is shot (to death, by the look of it. no chance that he's still alive?). and i heard that one of the csi team in csi miami also got killed? (i don't watch the miami spinn-off)

Aiden was a CSI in season 1, she was fired by Mac because she messed with/planted some evidence in a rape case because her friend had been raped twice by the same man but Aiden could never get enough evidence to lock the guy away. Mac found the tampered seal and confronted, then fired Aiden.
