Keep doing it. There is no law against it. It is unconstitutional to ask what those cops asked. We have a USA constitution that gives us the right to assemble, even on street corners with signs held up high. No one told the 1000's of people in PROP 8 to go home that they were creating "hazzards" on the street and blaming the sun!

limit the right to peaceably assemble

These people were peaceably assembled on the bridge. The "distraction" angle is an insult to our intelligence because of the 1000's of various guide signs and advertising signs along the freeways. Totally bogus, and I feel sorry for cops that behave so ignorantly of the higher laws.

wrightlarryj, why are you so paranoid about everything? Why does there have to be a boogeyman involved in every event? Some things just happen the way they are because that's life, period. It's ok to be skeptical, but when your pie can't be baked in the oven that's when you have to rethink what you've been thinking all along. Otherwise your basis is nothing, but a dogma.

I spoke to the officer with the hat (footage will be on the We Are Change Arizona video). He told me the banners are causing a distraction to the motorists. I then explained to him that across the freeway there are big green signs that say I-10 East, and 51 North 1/4 mile. He told me those were "normal signs" and ours are not.

Hmm, I wonder who chooses what signs are "normal"?
