"...where I could do..." Where he could do what? Its amazing how he thought that playing everythang backwards made more sense. I guess he was going through a phase at the time (lefty guitar neck on Red) where he wanted to see if he could play like that maybe and make himself more innovative as a guitarist and a musician. Amazing.
This is incredible. It seems like two guitar players talking about chords and riffs. That's the first time I hear STV share some of his technique with a player/interviewer. You can get a glimpse of STV's life and how he was totally devoted to blues and mastering the guitar from an early age. Thanks for the video
actually he didnt like that... It made him uncomfortable, he had too much honesty and humility to think he was more than human... Ya know, I'm not tryin to say this badly so if u want to, try watchin this vid over in the "more from". Click IMPORTANT: SRV A BEAUTIFUL MAN :)
I like watching interviews with SRV and Jeff Healey but this one bores me because you are not seeing Stevie talk or play the guitar like you are hearing in this video. There's no video just a bunch of photos. I prefer to watch videos that have live stuff going on instead of some slideshow of pictures.
Ohh shame on you I sat here listening to this for 2 hours and didnt' even realize it! Now I'm going to be tired when I get up. LOL I gunna watch the rest of them as soon as I get home 2marrow.
Hehe it didnt take long, I practically just lay down the tracks on the board and throw in a few pics lol and thank YOU for the comment and for watching! And thanks lalowsrs too he can pretty much have 99.99% credit for giving me the awesome clips! Again thanks for watching and keep livin the blues! :)
Wicht song is he talking about at 1:37? I can't really understand what he is saying.
zelissen 11 months ago
@zelissen if he's talking about doyle bramhall writing a part in the song, it's from "the ouse is rocking" off of In Step.

Loved hearing him just have fun and talk about music and play with sounds. It is an honest interview, no show, just him having fun.
