  • The music business hasn't been good to this guy? Most people never earn a dime in this business after considering the value of your time and money spent. Audley is quite successfull if you ask me.

  • Ten thumbs up!!

  • Audley is one of those cats who makes you realize how much you do not know about the instrument. I may have to just stick to playing the radio - for i now KNOW that i cannot play guitar.

  • Audley Freed could turn chicken schidt into chicken salad.

  • good guitar player, but it looks like the music bizz wasn't so kind to him...cry of love was good, but not good enough...unfortunately....best song from the boys was.".HUNG OUT TO DRY"..diamonds and debris album...that song should have kicked the worlds ass...just the way life is....still rocked my fuckin ass!!!!

  • So, your the guy everyones been stealing their licks from. Good chops.

  • love the playing, but the dog just makes it that much better....

  • @hazor777 The dog's name is Ace. He's very involved in shop activities and has great ears for good sounding gear. Seriously. If a client brings over a bad sounding amp or guitar he leaves the room. If the gear sounds good he'll hang around the person or amp all day. He LOVES Audley. One of his favorites

  • @JeffSennGuitars :haha! that's awesome. What is he, a Bluetick ? I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback for 15 yrs, up untill last year. One of the hardest things Ive ever had to deal with losing.......I hope Ace lives a long & prosperous life, sounds like a special dog

  • This dude looks really tall.

  • @imatube2 He Looks tall because he is!

  • Where'd you get that sweet guitar strap?

  • this man is a demi god. one of the most underrated guitarists...ever.

  • Such a great guitar player. I really like the stuff he did with Cry Of Love.

  • Brilliant!

Now get Cry Of Love back together, d*mmit ;-)

  • @basvarken i agree totally! cry of love was one of the best most under rated bands in history. i saw them in littlerock arkansas in 1993 or 94 and they were backing zz top and i honestly thought they were tighter and put on a much better show if you can believe it. and im a huge zz top fan!.

  • HUGE giutarist. In my humble opinion, THE greastest "unknown" in the World!!!!!

  • Sure sounds nice. Has a more integrated, pleasing sound than my Amer. Std. B Bender Tele.

  • Audley Frred is the best..........I just love what he does to a guitar........Thanks for the video.......Peace! X-Mann

  • Man, wish Cry of love would reunite.

  • Great sounding gtr.....OMG

  • Nice cameo appearance by the dog. I could tell right then this was gonna sound good!

  • Yawn.........

  • One of fav players...

And that is a lofty perch.

  • Audley Freed = major inspiration!

  • 2:07 - 2:20 God Bless You Audley...I got to get me a B Bender for my tele. In Australia though Lord knows where I will find one...

  • and in the hands of Audley...awesome

  • i have a 52 and nothing sounds better out of a blues jr.

  • Wow....I clicked on a Jeff Sennn link, and now my recommended for you feature keeps giving my vid's for Senn Guitars....geez...I don't get it...to me there is nothing remotley special about the look or tone of these guitars, and in my opinion ridiculously over priced.

  • @colderbythelake

While I don't have one of my own yet, several of my friends do and I can tell you they are fantastic guitars. The aging (if you want it) that Jeff does is better than any other I've seen. Vibey, vibey, vibey.

  • Beautiful b-bends!

  • Jeff did you do or organise the PW string-bender install? If so what does that add to the price?

  • I met Audley last November as he was good friends with someone we working with in Nashville

I found that as well as being a great player he was a really nice, humble person.

  • Audley Freed could make anything sound good

  • Amen to that!

  • Pickups with a softer attack to compensate for a brighter sounding neck/body?

  • Audley ended up liking the '52's better.

  • Oh, also, so these are Lollar 52's...why these not the vintages you normally use?

  • We try to use pickups that will enhance the qualities that the wood offers which can be different for every guitar. The '52's worked better than the Vintage series with this body and neck.

  • Sounds great what are the neck/body specs on that one?

  • Body is two piece swamp ash, the neck is one piece maple, soft "V" with 6105 frets.

  • Hi Jeff. What's the radius on this neck? 9.5?

  • Nothing but FANTASTIC!
