I can read arabic but I do not have the language knowledge to understand what is being chanted. I love this part of the Gospel as Jesus makes it clear that He is the Ever - existent, all - knowing Messiah to a lady. Could some soul write up what each verse means. Thank you & May Allah Ruh Kudus bless the whole of Egypt. from a being of the Eastern Catholic Church in Kerala, India.
It's great to hear the Messia mentioned in Arabic. He is to be praised in all tongues forever. El-Samreya woman was blessed but so are we today- to behold the Son of God sent to save us- no matter our tribes.

Could it be that what is Islamic imitated what is Christian? This kind of religious music existed long before Islam appeared in the 7th century. Maybe learn something about the Coptic Church and you will see what I'm talking about.
No need to get so offended dude. A person from the West who doesn't usually hear Eastern music, and on the rare occasions that he does hear it, it is delivered by the most mainstream Eastern People: Muslims, one might assume that all Eastern Music is Islamic.
that os true to a great degree, I am of the Syro Malabar Catholic church from Kerala, India and I love the Arabic language and can read it. to cite the smallest example, I was chanting the Mariyam - Oum -il- Allah at a house for Christmas and my friends young sister aged 12 asked me when I became a Moslem terrorist publicly. I had to explain that Arabic is older than Islam and our Christian Brothers have called God Allah 1st.The family was like Allah is Christian????????
@mexicoa...Hello Mexico. Even I am from Kerala, and I am a Nazarani. The name of our God is YAHWEH[the breath of life] and not ALLAH. The name is important becoz one of the commandments is ''do not take the NAME of your god in vain''. besides that u take care ok.Shalom,B'shem YAHWEH . just visit abrahamicdashfaithdotcom, replace dash and dot.
Thank you for your reply. The Copts, The Melkites and many Middle Eastern Arabs call The Almighty Allah. And I follow them too. And yes our Jewish brothers call God Yahweh.... I guess it does not make much difference as long as you know that the Trinity is Allah. If you hear many of the Coptic hymns you can hear how they chant Allah as The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. So to me Allah is the Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
@Zarabbas Islam appears to be a mixture of Judaism and Christianity, so maybe Mohammed was chosen to fulfil God's promise to Ishmail to make of him also a great nation, for the Arab countries did not have any religion except animism until Islam united them.
@Zarabbas Mohammed appears to be the prophet appointed to 'make of Ishmael also a great nation', for the Arab countries which were united by Islam had no religion until then except animism.
