@MrDunkJunk And you can hear it, by the sound of the guitar. Even though it's still a real Whitesnake-sound, every guitarist has is own unique sound, because of the specific equipment he is using. To me(and I was there in '08) it sounded exactly the same as the recordings from '05 =]
haha is dave actually singing ? LOL Sorry dude ya had a great run ;) Apparently you cant even sing the simple parts let alone the other parts ;) Horrible ! Refund... anyone ? lol
@atomicplayboy4u Saw them live last year and David Coverdale hasn't lost a thing. His voice may have been rough this particular night. All singers go through that. He is still awesome.
uhm, Vivian Campbell and Adrian Vandenberg never played on that - I am pretty sure that it was John Sykes who composed and performed all that for the album. Neither of those guys could touch John Sykes
@mpaulrealty yup, it's all about SYKES. but he's showed too much talent so that coverdale got jealous and decided to fire him to maintain as the main guy. what a pussy
@mpaulrealty Adrian Vandenberg recorded the guitar solo on "Here I Go Again" It is the only part of the album he recorded. Everything else was done by Sykes
I think that David has problems with voice because his monitor's volume is too low on gigs. The crowd is singing so damn loud that he doesn't hear himself good and he harms his vocal chords to sing louder.
I sing myself and I know what I'm talking about and DC really sings fuckin loud live.
Great to see Adrian back in the stage. If he finally got rid of his wirst problems, I hope to see him back in Whitesnake!!!! According to what I saw in this video, he's playing great!!!
Fantastic! I saw Whitesnake live at Cardiff in July, but to see them perform again with the brilliant Adrian Vadenberg....that must have been out of this world!!
I Had the chance of seeing Whitesnake 11 years ago (i was 8 at the time) i wish that i would have seen them then because Whitesnake is STILL a great (live) Band and i'll go and see them next time.
and Samanthadroppie thanks for taping it, it brings back all the memories
To me the true spirit of going to concerts is to have a really GOOD time and boy we did! besides, this camera doesnt do justice to what went down that evening!I,m a real fan so please dont say things like that! happy new year!!! have a good one!!!!
yes darling it was me youre dad singing his heart out, having the time of his life(again),you know we are not like other(so called NORMAL parents) we live to ROCK!!!. LOVE YOU sweetheart!!!!!!!!!
Het was zeker een geweldig concert! Ik ben er de volgende keer zéker weer bij!! Als ik er nu nog aan terugdenk sta ik weer te trillen op mn benen, zo goed...
I heard Vandenberg finally got rid of his wristproblem.. this f**ing gig proves it! Killer playing! few guitarists have his sense of melody combined with occasional speedbursts! Great to see him hit the stage again! Anybody know more about this??

John Sykes did the whole " Whitesnake " album & got fired.
Adrian Vandenburg & Vivian Cambell ( fr. DIO ) did the videos and the tour.
Two guitarists ( great ones at that ! ) to fill Sykes shoes because of Dave's EGO.
Too bad yer hits left with him.

Yeah someone said it was Doug Aldrich playing guitar but it's John Sykes right?
Or not...
I can't really tell.
At least I recoqnized Reb Beach (from Winger) and Adrian Vandenberg (from Vandenberg), glad to see them on stage.. still kicking ass!!!!!
MrDunkJunk 1 year ago
@MrDunkJunk It was 'just' Doug Aldrich, not John Sykes. You can compare images from the 2005 gig and this one =]

@mpaulrealty Actually, all three of them are very talented players. Senseless to bash one and praise the other.
browsfan 1 year ago
@mpaulrealty coverdale wrote the music for crying in the rain, co-wrote the music for here i go again with marsden, had the still of the night riff !
The rest of the music coverdale and sykes co-wrote!
And adrian played guitar on the 87 solo on here i go again
So... it was no "all sykes" who composed and/or performed.
still they are both great guitarist imo

Adrian should wear tight pants, boots and take his Guitar(Peavey) and run across the stage like he did in the 80s :)
But its still cool to see him sometimes whit Whitesnake
