Someone asked what was wrong with his ticker, I heard that it is a hereditary heart condition, don't know though exactly what that involves, but do hope and pray that all will be well and stay well for him.
I'm pretty sure a hereditary disease is one that is passed down through the family, so there is an increased risk of getting a certain illness/condition if you have a family history of it
practice?? practicing is what us mortals do!...he doesnt need to practice he needs a team of scientists following him around to figure out just what the hell he is.

Hey Tommy, Sorry to hear your heart has given you trouble and that your tour got cut short in your homeland but I'm sure your mates there understand how important it is for you and to them and the rest of the world that you rest and get better. Saw you on PBS television in the states for the first time, since I have been an addict ever since. Don't slow down. I'm a heart patient myself and had the bypass surgery seven years ago. You play from your heart and perfect as you sound you must have a truly big heart. The world needs your music. Give us what you can but give your family everything.

Tommy! You are a true inspiration for a musician like myself. I saw you play (oh, what a mediocre word in comparison) in Stockholm and I shook your fingerpicking hand. Forever changed.
For the love of vibrating metal tied to a peice of wood, take care of yourself. Don't rush it. The roads, the songs and your followers will be there when you return. Cherish some silence, for it is what holds the melodies together.

I saw about 5 concerts of yours here in Italy, and every time you floored me (especially in that unforgettable crazy gig at the Stazione Birra in Rome, April of 2006)... but, dear Tommy, please be sure that you'll take all the time you need (and more) in order to take care of yourself, from now on: you do deserve to take a bit more leisure time for yourself, man ... and to spend it gorgeously and happily :-)
