Thanks for posting this. I was beginning to think I imagined it as a kid. It's weird to think that Flintlock were popular for about 5 minutes after the Bay City Rollers and before punk. Yes, that really is Pauline 'Emmerdale' Quirke and her best mate Linda Robson. The bloke doing the announcement was Philip Elsmore. Ah Thames...
Yes, this was lame, but 'Tiswas' rocked! 'Clapperboard' was a more adult programme about films than some of the adult film programmes around now. Serials like 'Children Of The Stones' and 'The Georgian House' are well remembered.
@Feisty1967 Thanks for yout input: 'Lame' sums it up very nicely. Come to think of it, the same description would fit much of ITVs childrens TV output at the time.
I meant the sax player and singer!!

Nice to see a band that could play their instruments. Mike Holloway was a really good drummer and the singer was a looker!

I can't remember anything about the show except Flintlock, though I can't for the life of me remember any of their songs.

@flicker66 Many thanks. It does seem that Flintlock were an even smaller 'flash in the pan' than the Bay City Rollers.
