  • amazing

  • You could have just made something like the Ubisoft opening screen

  • lovely!

  • I Gave the 100th like!!!!!! hahaha, u on facebook? i am interested in these things.

  • thats what happens when i fart

  • Hours and Hours to render

  • Anyone have tutorials similar to the hurricane look of this, it's awesome!

  • i recently moved from cinema 4d into Max. And it is a hell of a change. I been having issues getting around the interface. And being able to do things like make a bump texture the way I could in c4d. And also issues with Fumefx on getting it to emit fire only from the bright spots of a material, dispite what a few tutorials instructed.

And when I try krakatoa i just get a black image no matter what my light settings are. -_-

  • @slamscape You have no lights in your scene.

  • @nVidia6000 I did. But I have noticed I have a different version than in all the tutorials I have seen.

  • @slamscape try sketchup? ^^

  • @slamscape its not the light source's fault causing a black image. Try to play around with the emitter override parameters in the Krakatoa UI. Good luck and welcome to max :P

  • Wow 181 gigabytes?! Your computer must be godly. :C

  • If I tried to render that with my computer, it would literally grow an arm and slap me in the face.

  • @SlimMrJim Have you tried uninstalling bitchslap.exe?

  • That looks really cool, but it doesn't seem like 24 million particles.

Either way, my computer took a dump with RealFlow for just trying 20,000 particles.... Oh well.

  • @staphinfection Well, realflow particles are far more sophisticated because they have particle interaction with each other so it isn't really the same thing, these particles are just points in space that follow a fumefx simulation data.

  • How long did it take to render and export

  • do you mind if I keyed this out and used it as a special effect in a film? Full credit to you of course! XP

  • @WhatAreYouBuyen If you give credit then sure you can use it. : )

  • @nVidia6000 thanks a lot mayte! I'll be sure to give full credit and links ;] and any future effects you make, may I also use some if I like them? Thanks a lot lol made my life a lot easier...

  • @WhatAreYouBuyen Yes, you can use any of my videos if you give credit. : )

  • @nVidia6000 hopefully you'll gain more popularity through me... unless you don't care about that... would you like to be my official special effects artist? I won't ask for much and I wont ask too frequently... ;) I'll PM you if I need something made and you can tell me if its possible or not...

  • @WhatAreYouBuyen Thanks, i can probably make some simple stuff for you. Popularity is always welcome.

  • This was great! But did anyone else hear sound effects in their heads? Ffffshrooommmsshhhh! LOL Hope I'm not insane :)

  • Chuck Norris made this in 1 metrosecond.

  • Yes, please do make a tutorial for those of us new to krakatoa etc :p

  • WOW ur PRO ..man ! best FX ever !

would you please make a tutorial in the future ? i`m really into this

  • veryy nice
