You can't pick birthsigns like in Oblivion, but you can find Tower stone and activate it. It gives ability to open expert level locks without picking them.

I see your point, but now you don't have to build your character before playing the game, so you don't make astrological or class predestination. You can continuously create your character while playing by using skill trees and selecting current Standing Stone effects for example.

@Smellmenoweww well the races are based on what you want to be, so most people pick nords because they want to be a warrior, people pick elves for mage or magic, and Khajiits for thief or sneaking.

You can make a orc be a mage and a elf/breton be a meleer they changed that problem. You can be anything you want to be race doesnt matter only the racial bonus is a slim difference.

The brenton have a serious resistance to all magics which is seriously effective when you are against a boss caster. compare playing a certain race with a certain resistance to a different one with out that. Makes more of a difference than you'd expect.

there is only one problem I have with the Argonians...and those are;:::1. the females look weird because they have large heads and thin/long necks...plus the two large front fangs you see when they talk:;;2. (this is also for Khajiit) the tails on both males and females, when you sit down the tail always glitches through the chair and even when your walking around it sometimes starts spinning around! also imagine you have a full set of armor and you just see that ugly tail sticking out...

I love how the male elves look in this game. Even wood elves look good (not the presets), and I don't really like them. A shame about the body hair which I don't like, but I can ignore that. I've been able to create such great-looking characters! I've yet to go through with playing a character other than a male dunmer or altmer, though. Should play a female orc sometime in the future, they are gorgeous. Originally planned to make a male orc too, but their heads look huge if I make them less buff

I only wish Skyrim had a few more things like more horses (and people riding them) in the world/wild, The option to fight from horseback, Being able to throw your weapons at people, and most of all MULTIPLAYER FREEROAM!! Also it would be kool if when you dressed up EXACTLY like guard in whtever town you are wanted in.. you could be disguised. Even if for just a few mins i think it would have been a nice addition.

The khajiits have these fucken weird ass sags on their faces. Every race is just as powerful, its so stupid. I had an Argonian and then I realized no one likes lizard men so I pressed ~ to pull up the console and typed showracemenu and changed my player to a Nord.

I made a Nord female for Skyrim and so much individualization adjust is possible in Skyrim that i totally love how mt first character in this newly released game has turned out! U can even decide if U want them to have warpaint and what kind and colour! U can adjust the shape of the face, eyes, mouth, body colours etc...I do not even need a mod to have a cute but wildlooking Nord-like strong character! U can do it right in the game! I am so HAPPY with this game! Graphics are amazing!
