  • I enjoyed the demo was well done and the sifu shows an understanding of the physics of the kung fu, a rare thing. (He didn't turn sideway, didn't cross the centerline, used forward energy etc). It's good to note that the opponent kept removing his right arm from contact and the sifu was being benevolent as, especially when blindfolded, one can't allow the opp to break contact without immediately moving in with a deadly blow. Very nice job, great skills. A true WC teacher!

  • Very good!

  • Sifu Rawcliffe is one of the few that understands this art, learn from him if you can

  • He's very fast and smooth with his techniques.

  • nice

  • when it comes to wing chun, u dont wait for the fight to come to you, you bring it to them

  • you are blindfolded in your chi sao part of the video, i was wondering what the goal of training chi sao in your system is?

  • @247wingchun To develop the sensitivity to not rely on your eyes in a fight, so you can already know your opponents intentions

  • pretty ballsy letting a guy in a blindfold make finger strikes to the face, dont think I would do that.

  • blindfolded...thats something id like to try out, maybe on a dummy first lol

  • Morpheus vs. Neo :D

  • When I'm at a high enough level to be able to play around more with chi sau and the like, I'd very much like to train with you if I'm ever in Brum town.

  • WOW this is simpy amazeing

  • Keep on chunning

  • Rambo had better watch his back!!!

  • cool

  • ahhh sticky hands at the beginning, great display of wing chun, i also do a rendition of jeet kune do, this video shows awesome forms of trapping

  • This clip really demonstrates who fast and effective Wing Chun can be. Si Gung Rawcliffe's style is unmistakeable! I love the pak sau section! I miss Midlands Wing Chun Kuen!

  • Yeah; there appears to be excellent judgement of distance and command of the all important 'centre line' from both guys, very important in Wing Chun it seems. If any one of them inadvertently stepped too far away, they would find themselves in Boxing range, too close they will end up in a clinch. Bruce Lee was a Cha Cha champion, any style of dancing must require an impeccable sense of distancing. Do you think this could be the reason why Bruce Lee was able to pull off Wing Chun so effectively?

  • Wow, usually I'm very skeptical of Wing Chun and similar martial arts that aren't directly applicable to mma, but this demonstration showed a very effective fighting style. Obviously nut shots would not be allowed in mma, but the other moves could be transferred. Wing Chun, or at least your style, appears adept at stopping brawlers. Good stuff, wouldn't mind seeing some more.

  • This stuff here is representative of real Wing chun; Rawcliffe is of Yip Man lineage, the Wing Chun that actually works, not a lot of the crap out there that just makes Wing Chun look bad. The Wing Chun that Bruce Lee incorporated into JKD is of Yip Man lineage.

  • I heard after this video Sifu Rawcliffe wiped out a small town in South America, just because.

  • not bad at all, well done

  • good Chi Sau if Im ever in Birminghem Id like to go to your class

  • nice video..

  • No nonsense Wing Chun, as it should be.

  • Very nice to see a great example of Wing Chun, something for us students to aspire to.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • nice video, simply but good and real wing tsun.

  • Sifu Choudury suffers from my illness of smiling when he gets hit! He`s human after all! haha He`ll hurt me for this...
