  • This song is not done right unless everyone in the audience joins in

  • if only freddie met john and did a duets album . i wish john could front queen .

  • The backup singers may as well sing their ABC's, they sound quiet, they aren't putting their hearts or lungs into it. This is a classic Rock Song, they need to belt it out!

  • Thunder In Your Heart!

  • Even the orchestra is doing it! That there is brillance.

  • when did donald trump get a band

  • @ellefsoneric Ha! Too funny!

  • And to think at this performance he is over 50 years old!!!! Astounding tribute to the talent Aus has had hidden away

  • Great vocals by John as always, superb guitar-playing by Brett...but there was just a little something lacking in the backing vocals. Nothing wrong with the voices; just a little thin-sounding.

  • @jimincairns I agree that part needs A LOT more power. Get some powerhouses like John and your golden. :)

  • AMAZING ! BRILHANTE!

  • What a legend!

  • OMG Love this video I've loved John ever since I can remember and I'm going to see him on Friday!!!

  • John farnham will be rocking perth this week !!!

  • Amazing singer. You got to love the man, puts on a great show too. No wonder he keeps coming back.lol

  • John farnham is a god,

He is the greatest singer of all time, and always will be.

Not even the late michael jackson is in his league.

  • Wow!!! I have to admit as a singer living in the USA I had never heard of him until yesterday...an awesome awesome vocalist.

  • I have always loved John Farnham......I am a proud Aussie too!....great video indeed.......

  • @lonaticc While I am sure you have regained your sanity by now, I still feel the need to correct you. I have heard some interesting opinions about John before; however, I have never come across a question of his 'ego'. I can assure you that he has no "legend in his own mind" issues, he has no need, his talent and attitude to his fans earned him that status - in the real world - a long time ago. I get that you may not like his music or even his popularity, but his talent you can not question.

  • awesome voice

  • brett garsed on guitar!!! man is good

  • i wanna see him singing Journey songs sometimes arrgh.. hes voice is a monster!!

  • Could you imagine him singing "Open Arms"? I get chills just thinking about it!

  • john could sing'faithfully'.

  • john farmham the australian voice!!. Hes voice is still doesnt change.

  • Wow, he is just awesome, but man the choir so weak. (just to stay polite :-))

Vocally he would have been awesome for Queen, but let's face it, style and looks vice Paul Rogers fit's better into the Queen image. Having said all this, Freddie is sorely missed. There is just no other!

  • I can't stop wondering how great other Queen songs like, for example, Save Me, would sound if sung by John Farnham. He would surely be the best choice to replace Freddie Mercury, since his unique style would give all songs a diferent feeling (never better than the original, but amazing on John Farnham's way). Also, John Farnham can improve any song on the stage, sounding sometimes better than a studio version.

  • If that wasn't enough, this man surely knows entertain the crowd (see other videos), reminds of Freddie Mercury. Sad they chose Paul Rodgesr. Of course he is also an incredible singer, who is doing a good job, but Queen needs more than that.

  • John Rock's no matter wat, but do agree with the backing vocales they should of put some effort in to the song...

it sounds pretty dull if they dont put any effort in to there songs of backng tracks...

    Farnham Rock's any way.

  • Goosebumps

  • damn did the chorus suck...especially compared to the lead vocals...the crowd should've sung along to make it better

  • You are right!

He should have got the three left Queen-Members assisting him with this song...

    ;o)

  • you rock us all john !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • PERFECT

  • John, a true australian legend

  • Go John, Freddie would've given this performance a thumbs up! Fantastic.

  • who are the guitarists does anyone know because they do pay some dang good respects to the legend that is brian may

  • Brett Garsed plays the opening solo, and Stuart Fraser mostly playing rhythm until later in the song. Brett kicks arse with that nice variation on Brian May's opening solo.

  • In addition, you can really see how powerful John's voice is in the opening part of the song - notice that for some parts he is holding the microphone at his waist and still sounds loud!

  • im assuming that the guitars used are PRS but corect me if im wrong

  • Brett Garsed plays an ESP custom (actually, I think it's his signature guitar now), not sure about the others.

  • brett and stuart deserve a red special each

  • Backup vocals were shit. Farnzy topped them with little effort.

  • Agree on that. It's a great song a great singer a great version but the backing vocals doesn't have any power at all.

  • but the guitarists do

  • he looks like an old gentleman yet he sings like a super-rocker God

  • wow!!!!!

  • This guy's an old man, but can out sing most vocalist on this planet. He's just insanely scarely. I'd like to see someone even try to challenge him.

  • I just received my new copy of this DVD and I am LOVING IT!! John Farnham has one of the greatest voices on this planet! Man I wish he would come back out for a few special appearance/concerts again. He is truly missed!

  • John Farnham, after all these years my GOD! you are such a TITANIC...you have a brilliant talent.

  • The man is simply superb.

  • awesome

  • Not bad for 58 year old.Farnham is one of the best ever.

  • It's completely clear that this Bastard, Farnham can sing. He's an incredible Old man that can out-sing any American idol that has ever exhisted May look similar to Trump now but has simply aged. Watch his earlier days with "Little River Band" "80's"

  • An American Idol contestant just brought a new audience to this man, so relax. Many Americans who had never heard of this man are now listening.

  • Simply amazing thats why Tom Jones has so much respect for him and Richard Marx said his voice is religion!

  • dude at first the singer looks like Donald Trump

    lol

  • Well i'm from a Queen tribute band...and i could pick it apart on a music level and a Queen level you can never re-create or re-paint the Mona lisa people. But this was simply brilliant. God that was good.

    Rock on John

    And what a band.

  • Awesome :)

  • This is the best arrangement ever made for such a great tune as "We will rock you"!!!!

    Brett, you're the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where does this clip comes from??

  • Thx 4 posting! This is gr8!

  • When he did this at the Wollongong concert it was the highlight of the evening!

  • its the lighting that makes this show great,

but the singing etc was good too.

  • I was at this concert, and this performance was one of the highlights of the night!! Awesome!!

  • thanks very much!
