  • amazing intro... I spent $300 for the CD player just for this game 20 years ago! this game was so hyped up back in then.. and I was not disappointed! glad to say my TG-16 and CD player are still running strong today.. unlike my Duo (purchased three years later-1994) the sound caps have died :(

  • Alan Oppenheimer has done a brilliant job opening this game for us.

"The legend has been silenced for seven hundred years... and now, the mystery unfolds." Cue the rest of the awesome music to immerse us into the Ys Chronology.

  • I like the PSP versions and the PC remakes that the PSP games are based on. But nothing will ever top the Turbografix versions of Ys 1 & 2 which got me into the series in the first place. By the way don't they have this for the Wii Virtual Console? It'd be good for anyone not willing to spend a lot of money on eBay just to find the original.

  • @Dammit723 They do - I have download it ^^

  • @Gotiquerose COOL!! I can't wait to get a Wii.

  • Do you have more? My Turbo Graphix is damanged so all the sound and video parts are messed up...

  • @tonberryhunter Why would anyone do that?????

  • @tonberryhunter Were you on crack or something?

  • Maybe it's just me, but did you record this from an Emulator?

The text looks smoothed, and the colors look different. As if it wasn't recorded from a video or the system itself, as it was from an emulator running graphics conversions on it?

Not that I'm complaining, it's still the greatest game and intro ever. Just curious is all.

  • Yup.

The intro to YsII is pure amazingness. Listen to it.

  • The Music Is Just Incredible!
