@TwangEmHigh Bluesbreakers sound? It's still Claptons stratty crunchy tone. I don't hear the cranked marshall and Les Paul;-). But the sound is ofcourse beautiful.
Shiff! This is the best Clapton I've heard in many years! The famous cover of Bluesbreakers-album (1966) said something like "on his best nights Eric can make time stand still".... well this certainly was such a night.

If my ears do not betray me that sound is clearly from a Gibson ES-335. Is the best sound for this type of blues! And I guess Eric put all he got within a minor chords! What a brainstorm for creating licks!!!! He will never have the german illness!!!
