Does anyone have a clip from the Barry Van Dyke-Airwolf episode which guest stars his father, Dick Van Dyke? It's sheer surrealist brilliance. Van Dyke is revealed at the end to have been a ROBOT the whole time.
The whole Canadian Airwolf series is absolute surrealist genius. The syndicated equivalent of an Ed Wood movie. Genius!
@Libline Never in the show, I think it was just no one caught it and he didn't take it off before shooting the scene, but I like to think in between season 3 and 4 he got married off to Cait. =)
I was very glad for the closure of Stringfellow's quest to find St. John, though seeing him so injured in the hospital broke my heart. I also never knew that this was practically the last time I'll ever see JMV on TV again. How sad!
Michael/Archangel was reassigned to the Middle East as a FIRM/Company advisor (if memory serves) and Caitlin, well they didn't mention where she ended up.
i remember watching this epsode a few years ago, but im pretty sure they havn't repeated it since. i can remember most of it! from what i remember of this first episode of season 4, it was pretty good!...considering it had no budget to speak of..i watched the rest of that season, they tried to make it good, but it just didnt work as well as the original airwolf with the original cast. I would love to see this episode again!

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the season when they ruined a good thing. Hawk, Dom, and Caitlin were the best.

Judging by the wedding ring on String's finger i assume he finally got married.

How did String get hurt anyhow?
moejr1974 1 year ago
@moejr1974 the Santini helicopter exploded (presumable a bomb) with Dom in it and Hawke nearby, killing Dom and and injuring String.

I agree with you when they found sinjin they should've ended it there

This was a painful scene for me, as String is my favourite. I used to play this scene over and over again. Couldn't accept he is gone off the show.

What happened to Archangel and Caitlin? I don't recall their absences being explained.

Yeah, that was his proper name, Saint John, although they pronounced it SinJin / S'n'J'n.

JMV was a great actor. This scene so reminded me of ECHOES OF THE PAST, although this SinJin was real.

Real flashes of brilliance from JMV in this final scene. What an amazing actor.
