Alison (the blond woman) is a psychic that uses her power to solve crimes. Being a psychic, she can see ghosts. The dude died after trying to kill Alison and now he's trying, as a ghost, to stop Alison from using her power because he believes it to be "evil".
I always imagined that as a medium, the dark, pursuing spirits would be the most terrifying. The brilliant simplicity of the answer of what to do was truly stunning. GREAT PICK!!
