I wonder if they realise the kid is an incarnation of God and whatnot. There's a bit too much emphasis on Ram on the part of the parents though. I get it, but a couple of scenes of playing with the other babies wouldn't hurt.

i love the old ramayan, i mean here it's ok, the actors look nice etc. (dasrath drives me insane......they couldn't find a better actor??????), but the old one has such a charm ESPECIALLY when you watch luv-kush part, in here the luv kush part of ramayan is so much blander, and they got Ram being angry at the KIDS!!!! in the old luv-kush it was so much prettier and exciting-er to watch.......also had some SENSE!! LOL sorry....i just don't like this one as much.....

The Greatest Feature of Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan is that --- 1.The CHARACTERS SEEM REAL--NOT BECAUSE OF ACTING

BUT BECAUSE of CHARACTERS of PEOPLE OF THAT TIME (90's).

If you see Todays Ramayan (Imagine NDTV) you will find most of Characters ARE JUST PRETENDING TO BE like RAAM OR OTHERS...seems that they lac SPIRIT & FAITH for their character!!

@toulovepak By Old Ramayan, I think they mean the Ramayan by Ramanand Sagar, teh father of Anand Sagar. This "Old Ramayan" can be found very easily on You Tube. If you do a search, you'll find both Ramayanas, the new and the old one also.

@gsrsdo I agree. The acting was much better in the old one. This seems a bit false and 'trying too hard' and not natural at all. There's no real charm. The only reason I'm watching this is because some of the dialogue (only SOME!) is nice.
