Its a shame that some people need to resort to childish name-calling, simply because they don't like what others do. Sure takes away from their credibility. I love to hunt, for food, as well as to be in the outdoors, following my natural instincts as a predator. My boy got his first two bears last year, and his buddies are interested in coming along this year. Its been said before, and its the truth: Kids who hunt, fish and trap don't mug little old ladies.
I plan on making a trip to Newfoundland for a bear hunt one of these years. That is a dandy there... In the meantime, Alberta will do just fine. Congrats on a great bear.
Queen Charlotte black bear typed in google says the same thing as it does for Newfoundland almost lol says worlds largest sub species and worlds smallest subspecies reside there....guess its a tie lol
@jsmallwood2007 must be genetically different says qween charolette has its own distinct subspecies..so i guess if you were a species hunter Newfoundland would still be tops on the list
i did enter it no mention of BC having the worlds largest...type in newfoundland black bear its the very first two google result..first result..says larger than their mainland cousins...second result says largest in the world...anyway as long as i can remember it has been said they were the largest in the world maybe you know something everyone else does not.
if you are looking for a place in newfoundland to hunt big moose, big black bears and caribou;i know adventure quest outfitters is one of the best places to hunt.the people at this lodge is number one in my books,to hunt relax, have fun and enjoy the outdoors.this place would be your best remembered hunting trip of you life.i wouldn't even want to go anywhere else.
@jsmallwood2007 Type in B.C. black bear in google and see what you find out. Queen Charlotte Islands (in B.C.) have the worlds largest black bear. Short hibernation period, great salmon runs, easy access to food.
