The fire ability is his own imagination as far as I'm told. He did train with Saisyu between 2001 and 2002, but I doubt that would earn him a fire ability. :)

actually Benimaru can control fire since he was born. It's his natural ability instead of Kyo/Iori who have sacred treasure blood line.
