How lovely to finally see poor queen Margaret happy! But I think the actor playing Henry Tudoe should have been allowed to keep the beard he wore when he played Oxford in H6 part 3. Looked more like a king.
why does henry have a comedy welsh accent? he was a franco/anglo/celtic aristocratic...he would NOT have had a working class 20th century rhyl accent.
@Hendrikdevuile: I guess the Romans took them away as they've bled us white, the bastards. They've taken everything we had, and not just from us, from our fathers, and from our fathers' fathers and from our fathers' fathers' fathers and from our fathers' fathers' fathers' fathers. And what have they ever given us in return?!?
I believe the discontent he's talking about is the Wars of the Roses. The sentence is "Now is the winter of our discontent made glorious summer by the sun of York...." and the sun is Edward IV.
Now is the winter of our discontent, made glorious summer by this sun or york. Is the whole sentence which means "Now that our winter (which was probably depressing) is over, the this sun of York bring upon us summer. Basically; summer's here.
now is our war, which turned the land barren of life like a bad winter, made peaceful and cheery again like a glorious "summer". You might say the Sun, that is, the "son" of York, Edward IV our new king, is the cause of this "change of weather".
Blessed be your great ancestor, Sir Edmund Rice, for killing the usurping murdering Richard III! Sir Edmund avenged the murdered, King Edward V and his brother by slaying the tyrant Gloucester. You're very lucky to have such a great man in your family tree.

Richard was killed by an unknown Welsh pikeman and then mutilated. This is a play, not a documentary. At nay rate, the Tudors were piece of shit pigs and the current monarchy is held by usurpers.
Really? No evidence one way or the other exists to who killed those boys or if they were even killed at all! Richard had means and motive, but so did Henry VI, Buckingham, and a few others.
Richard get a murdurer and kill all Princes and Princess btw what scene that the ghost of the ppl that richard killed talk to them.Them means Richard and Richmond
Henry tudor was the evil one he killed murder the princes and blame Richard so he can take his crown that truly belong to Richard III not Henry Tudor.
they're wearing the wronf type of armour for the period and they wouldn't of just had footmen and richard didn't have a flail or a sheild he had a poleaxe and heavy plate armour
If you're going to be pedantic (ridiculous; people have been adapting the trappings of these plays in every way forever; that's why they persist) then Richard WAS neither a hunchback nor a murderer; his armour proves him undeformed and the hero of this play killed the princes.
yeah the pic that shows that he was a hunchback was a remake and a mistake becuase the original didn't have a hunch and i think i'm right about the villan killed the princes not the hero.
Shakespear made a little of propaganda for the Tudors. Richard was a man of his time, he wasn't hunchback, he wasn't a monster and he wasn't a Hero, Richards fought and killed like the others.
What's with the crap fantasy armour?

BBC violence at its very best: real, suggested and remembered. Nothing like this on US TV, in my opinion.

What a dark and disturbing (not to mention pessimistic) end here...
Not to mention this isn't even in the original play...
Usually, adaptations of "Richard III" end on an upbeat note with Richmond's final speeches after becoming King.
