Exact same thing happened to me. I discovered that once I replayed all the old games I enjoyed them so much more. I originally forced myself to stop buying games especially after the PS3 and Xbox 360 came out simply because they were getting too expensive.
My hubby plays this one game all the time (civilasation) I knew he had a gaming addiction before I married him so I don't complain about it (doesn't bother me actually coz im addicted to things to lol) we are both introverted so in our views if it keeps the other quite for a few hours wtf cares? lol but if i do want him to do something and he is playing i let him play till the next turn and save it :) then he goes back to it later lols and he is 34 he has shown no lost of interest yet *^^*

You're correct about only certain games taking the top spots through the years. On every platform available, to me, only a handful of games ever stand out. Certain games just seem to make the experience for each console and it makes all the other games for it less fun. Always searching for the perfect game. Mordeth I am at the same point in my life where I wonder if I stopped loving games, and I realised it is not me, it is the industry doing a half assed job. I know this because whenever I get my hands on a really good game (which is so rare nowadays) I am hooked. So don't give up, once a gamer, always a gamer!

"Love for gaming" is too much of a blanket statement. I like the well crafted games where there's enough depth to hold my interest. Too much emphasis is placed on flashy graphics these days and too little on depth or game play/replay value. They concentrate more on making a game look good rather than making it a good game.
I'm tired of the linear story line based games too. Yeah, I'm older and more grouchy than even mordeth..lol. Ok, maybe I'm just older...

I gave LOL an honest try and could not get into it. Maybe because I got slaughtered and my teammates were commenting about how bad I was. Anyhow, this is your first reviewed game that I don't agree with. But I'm still playing the Battlefield Heroes game you reviewed over a year ago.

@hanz787 Don't give up. There are tutorials with tons of tips. There are also a bunch of commentors who said they'd help other M13 subscribers. It's a challenge sometimes....that's what makes it fun.

Mordeth I am at the same point in my life where I wonder if I stopped loving games, and I realised it is not me, it is the industry doing a half assed job. I know this because whenever I get my hands on a really good game (which is so rare nowadays) I am hooked. So don't give up, once a gamer, always a gamer!

"Love for gaming" is too much of a blanket statement. I like the well crafted games where there's enough depth to hold my interest. Too much emphasis is placed on flashy graphics these days and too little on depth or game play/replay value. They concentrate more on making a game look good rather than making it a good game.
I'm tired of the linear story line based games too. Yeah, I'm older and more grouchy than even mordeth..lol. Ok, maybe I'm just older...

I started playing this game on your recommendation and I cant decide if I like it or not. It hard to tell as a noob but I can see there is a lot there that I just don't get yet. I think its one of those games that if it grows on you your hooked.
