But Noel also said he's been thankful that the other members are contributing and everything isn't resting on his shoulders anymore. A solo album is EXACTLY what Noel should do, but if he continues with that he's gonna end up with himself as the chief again, at the same time he got kids and family. Doesn't make much sense if you ask me.
True...good point as well...but then again he wouldn't be expected to operate on the level that Oasis operated on. He'll be under less scrutiny and the pressure'll be infinitely less. As for songwriting, Gem has been saying Noel has hit a huge fertile patch.
If he goes solo I think that the saddest thing will be that he will have a more limited touring schedule. Sucks for international fans but he won't be pushed into doing more than he wants to by Liam who is always raring to go.
Noel was saying that it would be interesting for the fans to see how the parts make up the whole. I hope that Liam does at least try...if he could get a good producer I think that he could do alright for himself.
He won't be as free and independent as Noel to direct everything...but if he gets good people around him he could do well.
All those years as rock royalty...he has to have made some usful connections.

@shamwoww obviously a yank (or just a silly plonker in general) who hasn't a clue about real music.. the beatles did their own thing back in the day, oasis are now doing theirs, you can dot the lines and draw parallels all day but at the end of it, they are (were) a mental band who changed my life for the better, probably just as how the beatles changed yours (and mine) and millions of others.

To stop being a troll on youtube for a second, I just really don't understand when people can recognize the musical depth and beauty of the Beatles and then like Oasis.I REALLY don't undertsand.The music is sub-par,liam is a bad singer,awful lyrics,and to top it all off both of them are horrible obnoxious people who talk bullshit all the time. Secondly, I'm Canadian and when it comes to Oasis they talk more bullshit than any other people and they have a ton of egocentric songs, you don't know what you're talking about. Right now I just feel bad (but a bit excited) for Noel. I am looking forward to what he does away from Liam. It's been my opinion for a while that his making allowances for Liams views has stagnated his creativity to an extent. I am interested to see what he does when he is only answerable and reliant on himself

Yes you got a good point there, as you usually have.
But Noel also said he's been thankful that the other members are contributing and everything isn't resting on his shoulders anymore. A solo album is EXACTLY what Noel should do, but if he continues with that he's gonna end up with himself as the chief again, at the same time he got kids and family. Doesn't make much sense if you ask me.

True...good point as well...but then again he wouldn't be expected to operate on the level that Oasis operated on. He'll be under less scrutiny and the pressure'll be infinitely less. As for songwriting, Gem has been saying Noel has hit a huge fertile patch.
If he goes solo I think that the saddest thing will be that he will have a more limited touring schedule. Sucks for international fans but he won't be pushed into doing more than he wants to by Liam who is always raring to go.

Noel was saying that it would be interesting for the fans to see how the parts make up the whole. I hope that Liam does at least try...if he could get a good producer I think that he could do alright for himself.
He won't be as free and independent as Noel to direct everything...but if he gets good people around him he could do well.
All those years as rock royalty...he has to have made some usful connections.

thats spot on mate . its interesting to see what will happen. i went to albert hall gig . it was amazing but never had no energy . let Noel do his sit down gigs . thats what he wants these days and Liam writes with Gem and Johnny Marr so he can't be that bad .
