doesn't ANYONE at least have a DEMO so one can hear the Fuzz God NUMERO UNO? The germanium, better sounding one????? And anyone want to trade or sell or clone it?
@womwoms93 I'd totally recommend dude... you've heard how it sounds in this video, which was enough to sell me, but I tried one out on the day before purchase. Paid $225AU.
Would this pedal sound good with a fender 52 hot rod tele into a hot rod deville III? Becuase I've heard that fuzz can sound quite thin, and trebley through fender amps...?
First off, yet another way cool fuzz. But gotta say, as I praised you for quoting the Stooges and The Damned instead of the usual boring Stevie Ray blues riffs on another fuzz demo, on this one you quote not only a way cool Sabbath riff that is NOT the overplayed Paranoid or Iron man (they have so many better songs than those hits), you also quote a Herbie Hancock synth line from the 70s, which I'm sure went over 99.99 % of the people watching this demo. I'm seriously impressed!
This is a great pedal and does probably everything the Fuzz Factory can do, but with more options. It's probably more intuitive. I owned a FF first as well as a Fuzz Probe and if you've gotten used to either of these, this won't get you too much more.
Probably the best option is the footswitch for clicking the oscillation out.
I'm stuck between this pedal or the vexter Fuzz factory... i'm leaning toward this one now... cause the oscillations/strange noises look easier to control, (cause you can turn them off =P) and the FF uses germanium transistors.. which i've heard vary in performance based on temperature where silicon transistors dont.... the only difference is price.... and availability in canada... haha.
honestly, i bought this thing 2 yrs ago, and it was a damn mess, andy does a good job taming this thing on the vid, but man when its cranked, it breaks up ur amp too much....its a good low volume pedal and for the studio, for live situations i don't recommend it all.......other then that,,,,,,great job andy on the vids
@Orieus. Yeah I only played it once through a stack (admittedly it was a Bass stack) but it sounded completely different and yeah it was pretty much just a crackly mess.
This thing sounds amazing in the vid. I'm going to get one, so I'll tell ya what I think. Hope it's worth the price, because it definitely isn't the cheapest fuzz box out.
Starting to wonder if i'd like this more than my FuzzFactory... Theyre really too different to compare i think... many just compares the because og the oscillation effect whitch is a little rare (spotter and stab knob).. But I would gues you can use the Fuzz God for a lot more than the zVex.. The zVex just can't be substituted :P

how suiting, smashing pumpkins songs at the beginning. Billy Corgan used a Big Muff, which is a bit better in my opinion, and most likely a lot cheaper, good playing and demo though, Pro Guitar Shop!
