  • Infinate Jest in your pants hahah

  • I'd love to be able to search a keyword and find all the memories I've ever had of that word pop up. Also, I'd like to see what my dreams were when I was a baby. Just makes me wonder.

    DFTBA. Loves ya John.

  • Lol "I'm giving up all foods that taste good!".

  • I opened my TFIOS sharpie while watching vlogbrothers, I think that says I watch too much vlogbrothers, but I don't think so.

  • Made me think of doctor who too...

  • Wikipedia in your mind makes me think of Doctor Who. Either it will be like the person that has the extensions that is added to your brain which you can access whenever you wish, but surpressed so one doesn't die. Or be like Donna Noble. (Poor Donna)

  • MY NAME IS SARAH YES.

  • First thing I though of when watching Hank say the "wikipedia in my mind" was the Doctor Who episode where the visit game station 5 and they have the brain surgery thing where they can store all the information and they become the computer.

  • I am organizing the numerous messy drawers in my computer room while going through the entire series of Vlogbrothers videos. It's the only way I can deal with organizing messy things.

  • hahaha on my primary school at my 'gradutation' my teacher called me Evapedia XD because I know a lot, but still I'm not doing going to the univeristy because I'm not that smart. my name is Eva btw. XD

  • watching them all!

  • "I hope you're going to church! Just kidding you heathen."

  • thumbs up if as soon as this video was over you went on wikipedia to search for sarah's picture

  • Wikipedia rejects my entry changes (and no, I do not make them all spam-y and WRONG)

  • John Green, ARE YOU CATHOLIC???

    causethatwouldbecompletelyawesome

  • All my teachers say wikipedia is unreliable.

I want a wikipedia in my brain.

  • John I think that story would be a good novel. Thumbs?

  • 1:44 who paused the video and googled Sarah Green?

  • My name is Julie, and this video drove me crazy. :p

  • John, you are the only youtuber who has the power to make me laugh hysterically like an idiot with every. single. video. It's a good thing I'm alone in my bedroom now, otherwise my family would think I'm crazy and send me to the looney bin. If that exists.

  • if the wikipedia in your brain is part of you, enough to control your perception, then what if you had a wikipedia page called "your reality" that could be changed by anyone . whoa.

  • In summary, you don't want wikipedia in your brain.

  • Put Wikipedia in your brain. You'll have all kinds of misinformation at your...frontal lobe (I was going to say fingertips but it wouldn't be like that if it was in your brain)

  • there's also a video called "john green welcome in the netherlands" with an appearance of the yeti.

  • I SAW A PICTURE OF THE YETI! Look up John Green images and one of the pics has her in it :D

  • Julie Baskin has done it! There is no Wikipedia for your wife Sarah Green, but there is one about the Yeti! Oh noes!

  • sarah is very pretty just google her

  • Every year I give up easter eggs, thus is the life of an atheist rolling around in irony.

  • "Can you hear the voice of the yeti? Can you hear the voice of the yeti? SHE. JUST. SPOKE."

    MY LIFE IS NOW COMPLETE.

  • *goes to wikipedia, looks up "Yeti"*

  • "In Your Mind" by andrew gerbasi feat. steve morrison. should post with this!! excellent song

  • Julie? As in... Aunt Julie?

    WheezyWaiter? O_O

  • @kevinearlturner That's Judy, not Julie...

  • @Lexicografia kthx.

  • I remember when I first read that book I think I was in like 8th grade? Maybe haha I don't remember too well but I told my friends about it and they thought I was weird for liking it haha but I didn't even care! =]

  • OMG TEH YETI!!

  • i read "Feed" like a month ago. It was really disturbing, actually. holes in your body?

  • you had a girlfriend in 4th grade?

  • i hope julie baskin is watching this.

  • In a way, we all have a wikipedia in our minds. We edit it when we learn new things. Unfortunately, the search bar is hard to find.

  • @Isitonacornflake No, it's just that the search function really, really sucks sometimes.

Also, updating it requires direct link to another information source via only the five external senses.

  • Your comments on dystopian novels makes me want to share my son's blog entry with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did ... though you might not, since you're not his mom. ;)

  • The whole "edited by someone else" concept reminds me so much of Peeta's situation in Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.

  • Whoa! I just said that book on my last comment..... Mmmmmmhmmm :)

  • well that was randome.

  • 38 vid cmnt

  • post a fourth grade picture!

  • Charming fourth grade boy seems impossible

  • lol y not just have a google cuz then u can go to not only webcites that people edit but others that are just made for that infoermation.

  • Haha "Feed" in your pants. I couldn't resist xD

  • So going through all these videos... is going to take a while. And quite a lot of hours.

HOWEVER, it is quite worth it. <3

  • Watching these old ones are so crazy! I can't believe it.

  • John, you're so cute. I hope I marry someone as sweet and loving as youuu :) Sarah's found such an awesome guy

  • Yeah. I'm kinda jealous.

  • Why not just have an encyclopedia in your brain? No risk of editing.

  • haha i'm having to watch all of the vlogbrothers' vids for a project on an inspiring person i'm doing for school (john is my inspiring person) and i have to say, this is the best project EVER :D

also, i totally agree with john in the fact that i wouldn't want EVERYONE editing my brain. i would think that it might even be painful D:

  • mine to

  • Johm you may edit my wiki brain lol

  • Wondeful rant on my 13th b-day

  • Agreed. Except not my 13th :)

  • ^^ Coolio. How old were you?

  • the sad thing is after a while i believed sarah was a real person and Julie was horrible =.=

  • Yeti Spoke!!

  • i love Feed!

  • LOL THIS VID WAS POASTED ON ME BIRTHDAY

  • I read "Feed" for an Adolescent Lit. class in college and found it interesting. I found it somewhat overly profane, but the concept and storyline was fun to read.

  • sarah green is an artist lol

  • Hey, Infinite Jest! I just started reading that, it's a little intimidating but good so far.

  • Yay! He mentioned dystopia. The nugget of nerdom.

  • nerdfighteria i think is more accurate

  • 39: "As opposed to the current state of the world where the internet is NOT wired into your brain and you become sort of mindlessly consumeristic." lol

"It needs to be a Wikipedia that can only be edited by experts whom you trust"lol awesome vid!

  • I read Feed, i didn't know it was a book known by others. its one of those books you don't forget.

  • Does that mean it's good?

Because there's been some terrible books I've read that I didn't forget about lol.

Sorry, I'm just compiling a list of books I want to read.

  • Yes, it's a very, very good book. :)

  • READ ITTTTT.

  • I absolutely love Feed, it's one of my favorite dystopianish fictions.

"Let's face it, I was a very charming fourth-grader." Julie Baskin, must kill!

  • 41. i must read this.

  • 40: Stupid Julie Baskin!

  • 37: That craft Julie Baskin!

  • *crafty

  • ...how eveything results in Nuclear Weapons

  • I love FEED.

  • Comment 35:

     :)

  • The Yeti seems like a strange nickname for your wife, but, adorable at the same time.

  • I'd forgotten you did this video. I had to study it for my Power Politics in Children's texts class.

    Great read.

  • hah ur so smart. just everytihing you say.

i love how inlove you are with sarah.

    its adorably perfect :)

  • haha i so love this video. it's full of intelligence :D

  • It does remind of a science experiment if someone messed around with your brain. I haven't that book yet.

  • "Can you hear the Yeti? Can you hear the Yeti?! She spoke!" Lol John how have you not gotten killed for calling your wife a Yeti?

  • I read that book it was AMAZING!!!

    but creepy and deppresing

an dI would hate having a feed

  • You might also compare it to the Matrix in which you can simply install programs into yourself because you basically are a really advanced computer built into a human life form. Then again, I've only seen the first movie, so what do I know?

  • In also reminds me of the anime Ghost in the Shell, where characters can upload their minds to the internet.

  • I read "Feed".

  • I almost spit iced tea all over my computer when John called Hank a heathen.

  • Feed is an awesome book! I read it about a year ago, and then I see this video and say, "Yaaaaaay"

  • Wow, the exact same thing happened to me! XD awesome.

  • haha, me too! that was a really weird book, and if i recall correctly, quite sad...

  • The Wikipedia in your mind reminds me of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...

  • i read that book too!

  • i would actually pay money to see the yeti/sarah. i really wanna see what she looks like

  • Me too!!!

  • I've found her since then! type in john green and sarah on google images and its the first one i think, she's really pretty

  • I just did that, she is fantastically gorgeous.

  • @mcflyloveme just google "john and sara green wedding" in images. the first one you see will be them.

  • @mcflyloveme google is your friend

  • @mcflyloveme I actually saw a picture of her one time. It was a picture of her at their wedding. I can't remember how I saw it though!

  • @mcflyloveme there are a few pictures of her on the interwebs

  • @mcflyloveme If you still want to know what the Yeti looks like, I suggest you find the tumblr for Henry Green. The Yeti makes a few appearances.

  • @mcflyloveme According to John she looks like a kitten wrestling a rainbow. :)

  • @mcflyloveme Ive seen her man, like clay mixed with pretty, molded by Michelangelo

  • @mcflyloveme PSST... I you made a comment 3 years ago on this video that says "I would pay money to see the yeti."

I have a secret... Go to Google Images, and type "John and Sarah Green"

DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT IT THOUGH!!! (sarcasm. what I really mean is... tell everyone you know.)

  • @SarahHeartzUnicorns ohhhhh my God that picture of the two of them and Henry is SO CUTE agfjdsafhdjsafhdjs

  • @mcflyloveme Well, if you really want to. You can just google search her full name (which you will find at the end of most of John's books).

  • yay distopia!

  • I read FEED!

  • I want a wikipedia inside my brain, too. Feed is one of my favorite books too though... but in the book the people's minds don't have wikipedia in them, it's more like they have ad banners flowing through their minds 24/7.

  • do we ever get to see the yeti?

  • I want a wikipedia in my brain....

  • me too..........

  • me three

  • me four....

  • me 5.....

  • me steve :D

  • me 6...wait 7?

    yeahh

  • feed is one of my favorite books.

  • Being able to edit people's brains... hmmm

  • you're awesome. no, made of awesome. no, both. :)

  • Please don't compare Be More Chill to Feed... M.T. Anderson kicks Ned Vizzini's ass.

  • they were both made of awesome. Be More Chill...in your pants

  • Ned Vizzini pwns my life

  • there is another book like that as well....you get a pill and it takes over ur brain and it has access to everything and tells u what to do. i think it's call Squip or something like that..its really good

  • "i hope that you're going to church today, just kidding you heathen" LOL!!!!

  • If you wikipedia John Green, there's a small section that talks about the Brotherhood 2.0 project.

But if you type in Nerdfighters no page comes up! But, it does show John Green and Charlie McDonnell's name...hm...we should edit this so the Nerdfighters actually have a page.

  • i love feed, that was a great book

  • OMG - i know a julie baskin. I can prove it. She's one of my friends on facebook....

Maybe she's the same one. Either that, or we live in parallel universes. What else could explain this?

    nerdfighters forever

  • It's a brave new world we discuss. Yes, a wikipedia in your head that is editable by anyone is a bad idea. That way lies an idiocracy.

  • John- you have already lost your ear cemitry. I hate to tell you that. but you have. Wikipedia in your pants sounds better.

  • I love the book Feed. Now I'm going to go read it! Yay.

  • Wow I hit the comment limit! I didn't know that that was possible!

I bet you were one sexy fourth grader...ew I kind of sound like a pedophile. Does it count if you are older now? I don't really know...*contemplates*

  • "Can you hear the voice of the Yeti?..Can you hear the voice of the Yeti?.." xDDDD

  • Hard wiring Wikipedia into your pants woud be less risky.

  • you're in Wikipedia! I had the urge to look you up after seeing this.

  • that sounds like down and out in the magic kingdom; cory doctorow. great book! read it john~!

  • Haha that was the best vlogbros vlog I've seen so far =D

  • you should write a book called The Wikipedia in Your Mind and it would be awsome

  • I think this is gonna be the last one for a bit, I've been working my way from the begining.

  • okay so, feed is defiantely one of the strangest books i've ever read, but i LOVE it. i think that technology would be cool, but would have a large potential for problems and danger...

but its a really good book. i looove it. by the way, john, my best friend and i have decided we MUST MUST MUST read your books

  • Your ideas are very creative. Thank you for posting!

  • Wow, I was all thinking that being wired to wikipedia woudl be cool...well, as long as no one can edit it until it's proven as fact. Yes, possibly...Maybe I should read that book.

  • I love the book Feed! I read it about a year ago. It was really interesting and thought provoking. If it cant be edited then where is the wikipedia part? So sad our world... Cool thoughts

  • This was genious.

  • Kind of random, but what's your guy's myspace URL? It'd be nice if I could send a friend request your way!

  • i've always seen feed at the bookstore, but i've never picked it up. i will next time.

    because of mr john.

  • it'd be even better if you had the wikipedia in your pants.

  • lol

  • dude u sold the movie rights 4 looking for alaska AWESOME!!!!

  • i look you up in wikipedia!! it has a picture of you! i wish i was in wikipedia..that be pretty joke...ha.

  • wow, Feed totally came to mind when I watched that video. love that book. made me cry lol

  • aaww.... this is the first time that i realize that The Yeti is Sarahh... oohh.. i feel stupid!!

  • Cool, I just wikipedia'ed you. :)

  • They don't let students use Wikipedia for projects in my (old) school anymore, since anyone can edit it.

  • Also because like, half the stuff posted isn't cited anyway. x__x

  • Did you know that if you look up John Green in Wikipedia you come up? Nothing comes up for my name :(

  • I love how you guys call your wives yeti.

    nice

    haha :]

  • Only John calls his wife the Yeti. Hank calls his wife Katherine, because, well, that's her name.
