  • Coconut oil is extremely comedogenic! Never use it on acne prone skin! However, it's great for eczema.

  • @aenigmatica8 Not true. They recommend using it for acne because of all of its "anti" properties, it clears it up. I have cleared up all of mine. I love coconut oil! If you do a lot of research, you will find there is not much that coconut oil cannot do. It is a miracle food!

  • what song is this

  • dr.Ray Peat avocades refined coconut oil!!

  • coconut oil is really good! I think it is also used for faster hair growth

  • Comment removed

  • well, i think its easier to buy big jar of organic oil online for a cheap price and use it for face and hair...i prefer iherb.com. 5$ discount with coupon code KOZ730

  • rolf what a song for acne

  • It's cool you are trying to be helpful but you are just spreading misinformation ... coconut oil is good for you ONLY when it is unrefined and COLD pressed ... not getting it from canned milk etc and HEATING it ... you just killed everything good about it ...

  • That's not virgin oil, that is highly refined oil due to high temperature and the source is a low quality too. True virgin coconut oil is extracted from cold press mechanical processes without the use of heat. Go buy it stop being tight.

  • Or u could just buy it.....

  • this is disgusting. And extremely inaccurate. Burning something breaks it down. This person has seriously just burnt the coconut milk and is telling you to put it on your face. . . cooking or freezing something always breaks down the nutrients and certainly burning something . . . I'd reccomend what everyone else is GO BUY IT. Your probably getting better and more consistent product

  • @shawhty its so funny how you watch the video but didnt get the whole point of it, u dont put the "burnt" stuff on your face its the oil that u use, and fyi this is an alternative for when u cant find a coconut oil in store, but if u can get one then why bother making it right. and the stuff you said was burnt is actually uses as a topping for a delicacies maybe try researchcing maja blanca Latik and you will know what that burn stuff is. please do research first before posting comments. ty :)

  • @Ktmakeupfx know what that burnt stuff is. . . ya. . .burnt stuff. . .

  • its cheaper to simply go to an Indian market and get a bottle of pure coconut oil. The price for coconut milk these days, plus the quantity of oil you get and the time spent, buying the oil is much more worth it. Thanks for sharing though. Very informative facts.

  • @lizthewizful that is true, but in some places coconut oil is hard to find this would be a good alternative :)

  • why didn´t you buy 100% pure coconut oil O.o ??

  • I think it would be more beneficial to drink the coconut milk and not cook it. Adding heat changes it and you don't receive the same benefits. The coconut oil you want is Virgin Cold Pressed which is NOT heated or refined!

  • whats the name of the song?

  • i have the #1 food and beverage on my channel it makes this stuff look like water the stuff i sell is the fda's worst nightmare just click the link to get started and i will give you my phone number the juice im selling saved my life! i no longer have diabetes or high blood pressure just try it!

  • the comment about the stove was funny! Mine stays a mess b/c its a cheap stove (we are renting) and its SO HARD TO CLEAN so if I took a picture of mine it would be on the fonky side too so dont feel bad.....love this idea. Ill have to research it more b/c Ive heard years ago that coconut oil is good for weightloss.

  • do u just put the oil on your face? for acne?

  • You can buy coconut oil from iherb.com Use LAL669 to get $5 off.

  • IM ALLERGIC TO COCONUT... WELL ON MY FACE SO I CANT USE THIS THAT SUCKS

  • @sfefa101 u can try using honey it also works good, I also use alcohol when I have pimple it dries faster I just dab it with a cotton swab

  • Thanks for the tip I'll pass it to my daughter who is having a problem with acne....

  • omg your oil is dark and nasty. just buy Nutiva as that is expeller pressed EVCO and it smells like coconuts

  • Does look like a crack stove though.

  • not to put the message of the video down but this music is super distracting... anyway, thank you for the info!

  • What are the benefits of rendered oil from coconut milk? Are there any chemical differences from organic coconut oil you can buy? I didn't read comments, pls forgive me if already discussed. Thanks!

I REALLY like (good!) music playing and no talking, itz so refreshing! If I ever post vids I will def steal the idea w/no shame, so I don't ramble & giggle nervously like a lot of us do. Anyway, just one more thing I didn't even notice your stove until you (they) pointed it out.

  • @Roni0517r cold pressed coconut oil like the one you get from the store are better, but in case its not available in your area and you couldnt find it anywhere this is a good substitute as well ,my grandma used to use this to massage on sore or aching muscles too

  • Who cares what people think about your stove??? WHO CARES????

  • This song literally stalks me.

  • thanks for the video i called my mom recently to ask how to make the oil and that is the exact instructions. i am glad that i now have a visual to go with her instructions. God bless you for sharing

  • 4uck this damn music man!

  • THE MASS MURDER ABOUT TO HIT US WILL BE 120 MILLION van yoiu trace any medeical poeple? GOV employees? Too LATE TO WAKE UP IDIOTS. THIS IS YOU LAST AMERICAN IDOL

  • Thx 4 the info! Ur such a positive person!

  • i think its an awsome video..people need to pay attenchion to the video purpose instead of knocking other people..mAN i hate that

  • by cooking the milk you are killing the enzymes inside the coconut, making it less healthy. just buy it cold pressed oil at the store if you plan to eat it

  • can i just buy coconut oil.?

  • @scenequeensixx yes you can buy coconut oil :) this is just a tip in case you couldn't find a coconut oil

  • @scenequeensixx okay thanks(:

  • the stove is old..not dirty!!

  • @ETECSFINEST oh yes I am aware of that, i think you missed 0:28 there was a note there that says when we moved here it was stained badly and it has been change since then coz its gross, so it wasn't because the stove wasnt clean :) but thanks for watching the video

  • sorry--- because u make me laugh. Ok..let me teach you the simplest way to get VIRGIN Coconut Oil. Get coconut milk...put it in plastic (so that you can easily cut it afterwards)..freeze it. Once frozen, put it (remove the plastic/cut) in the some transparent container. Leave it for 24h more or less. After that, you will see everything is separating..oil, water and white sediment. Scoop the white sediment on top, then you can scoop the oil. The thing is 5kg coconut milk can get 1L oil ONLY.

  • @dellnaspter lol thats cool, u should make a video and post it as a video response if you like so that way the viewers will also have other option they can try, thanks for sharing :)

  • Wrong methis u are killing all the beneficial agents by heating it. it should be cold pressed buddy!

  • @gsxrful thats true, but in some places cold pressed coconut oil is not available, this is a nice substitute when you can't find it in the store

  • clean your stove-- eek

  • @38spence I know its kind of gross but if you watch the video, I stated that when we move it was already like that and we got a new one now :) but thanks

  • You can get coconut oil at iherb.com and new customers can receive $5 off anything with ongoing coupon code TAW742 (valid for one person per household)

or try soap.com (yes they sell coconut oil to!) new soap.com and diapers.com customers can save up to 20% off everything with ongoing coupon code MYBABYLOVE And please inbox me,I can tell you what has cleared my face from acne, black heads etc..

  • I think cold pressing preserves the vital elements much better than heat processing it. You can get cold-pressed cocount oil

  • we call it gata and we call that residue as latik . we put the latik in our delicacies. It's very healthy as opposed to what americans made use to believe that saturated fat from coconut is bad. As they knew our country is abundant in coconuts and there's no way they can make money, so they created a scare tactic. We also apply the extracted oil to our skin to treat fungal infections and as a massage oil. , I dumped any mouthwash and just ust vco to swish my mouth...the result is whiter teeth

  • the fat in coconut oils is from medium chain fatty acids, which do not raise cholesterol and are much healthier than the long chain fatty acids that you get from saturated animal fats. I use coconut oil in my hair from time to time. Makes it real smooth, and smells nice and beachy :) I also put 1 TBSP in my smoothies.

  • @KiKiTheTechie i totally agree

  • nice video! One quick notice though...while coconut oil may help to increase metabolism..its is not a healthy oil for food intake as of all oils it contains among the highest percent of saturated fats. which is bad! so be careful if you're gonna use it in foods

  • @ArianEmanuel hxxp://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2010/10/22/coconut-oil-and-saturated-fats-can-make-you-healthy.aspx

  • when my hair is wet I put some on the end and the rest of the hair shaft. Then I let it dry in my hair overnight and my hair is so buttery, I have natural hair so it gets really dry,and coconut oil is the cure for my dry hair. as far as the weight loss goes how much do you have for results?

  • can you possibly use this in a hair product as well. cause if you can you just saved me some money...lol ...thanks

  • I use it on my vagina, really nice.

  • coconut oil is accually better for getting rid of acne by taking it internally. It kills candida which would help if your acne is being caused by candida and it will also help with constipation. It also gives you a thyroid boost which is great if your acne is hormonal.

  • is Lou Ana: All Natural Coconut Oil good? please comment back very appreciated ( also i rated and subscribed =)

  • Does this coconut oil work? SPECTRUM NATURALS ORGANIC COCONUT OIL REFINED. Please let me know if this coconut oil works!

  • What do I do after I put the coconut oil on my face? How long do I leave it on my face? Do I rinse my face off with hot or cold water? Please let me know?

  • @iwantcooky If you have dry skin you can apply the coconut oil on your face for about 2- 3 min thats what I usually do in winter times but if you have oily skin I wouldnt suggest doing the whole face but if you have acne or pimple is some areas just dab it with a cotton swab let it sit for about 10 min then rinse with luke warm water but since it is hot I like using cold water on my face I wouldn't suggest hot water on the face since it can dry out your skin

  • @iwantcooky Hi, I use coconut oil on my skin and I just leave it on. I wash may face with warm water and then work a dab of the oil in and it has helped, my breakouts are drying up and my skin looks healthier, I like the way it doesn't leave a shine on your skin like other moisturizers.

  • @NadimahElizabeth im happy it work for you i love coconut oil because of its many uses :)

  • @NadimahElizabeth I use a mixture of organic virgin coconut oil, organic extra virgin olive oil and organic lemon juice on my skin after I take a shower to keep my skin soft.

  • @iwantcooky leave it on, it'll absorb. No reason to waste it by rinsing it off.

  • mine came out toasty. :o lesson learned. haha

  • Fantastic, very well explained...

  • wouldnt it be easier to just get virgin coconut oil in a jar? I got some and use it on my face and hair and it does miraculous things

  • @dharmarogue oh yes yes you can sure do that, they are exactly the same, it works wonder on the face, i use it for my hair too when it gets really dry, this is just tips coz in some places virgin coconut oil is not available and only coconut milk is available :)

  • The music is good and of course the good advice about cocnut oil is very good for the skin, well done!

  • I used oil for my hair but not on my acne, not sure about this.

  • @youaremysong098 I also use it on my hair, just dab it on the acne itself using a qtips, you can also use honey if you dont like coconut oil :)

  • Why in the hell would you want to boil the nutrients out of it? I just eat it straight away.

  • @LakeTiticaca100 the tutorial is about how you can extract coconut oil. If you use it straight away its not coconut oil its coconut milk, the easier way to extracts oil from coconut is to boil it, you are not killing any nutrients from it, coz if it does then why people still sell coconut oil and uses it as health benefits :)

  • This Was Great! Loved the Music...Thank You 4 sharing=)

  • that looks burnt to me i aint never seen any oil that is brown

  • @nospam2012 its not burnt, its natural when you extract the oil from the coconut :) in some asian countries they used the extracted coconut as a topping in some desserts

  • @Ktmakeupfx so why is it the one i just bought is clear, i dont see any brown one anywhere.

  • @nospam2012 the clear one is the oil itself, when you buy regular coconut milk and let it simmer the oil will separate as shown in the video you have to strain it to separate the oil from brown stuff after straining you will get a clear coconut oil

  • @nospam2012 there are a few ways on extracting oil from coconut, applying heat to extract the oil is almost the same as other method, the difference between a good grade and a low grade coconut oil is not when the process of heating but how you extract the coconut, first pressed coconut milk is the best and purest kind you get a really good grade coconut oil as to the 3rd pressed coconut milk is usually the low grade kind :)

  • Oh and I think you have really pretty hair. =]

  • does coconut oil clear acne MARKS?

  • Hey! I have a question! I have REALLY curly hair, so like after using a straightening serum and then blow drying my hair and then straightening it using a straightening iron, is it ok to apply little bit of coconut oil on my hair so that it stays straight and doesnt loose moisture?

  • you're welcome :) just feel free to message me if you have questions

  • thank you sooo much for the tips and advice! im going to try the honey next! you've been very helpful ;) im also interested in trying out the egg white facial mask! cant wait! thanks again! :)

  • so ive been putting extra virgin organic coconut oil on my face at night time to see if it would help with my acne, but i think it made it worse :'( is it suppose to do that before it gets any better? or is there a better way in using it to help with my acne? please any advice you have i would really appreciate it :)

  • @tinytoma25 when I use cocnut oil for my acne I just apply them on the acne itself I dont apply it all over the face I usually leave it for like an hour and sometimes I do it before bed time, everyone have different skin types one might work on the other as some may not, if it doesnt help try to use honey leave it for a few min then wsh your face

  • @Ktmakeupfx you can also use egg white face mask these are the few thing I know might help with acne, I hope your acne goes away I know how it feels i dont like it too

  • @tinytoma25

Scientifically, though coconut oil has antibacterial properties, it's also comedogenic. If you don't know what that word means, non-comedogenic might ring a bell--it's often put on makeup and moisturizer bottles to indicate that it does not block pores. Coconut oil, in a large amount, can help block pores and make acne worse. You're better off with a drying compound if oil aggravates your acne, like benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid.

  • @SpammityCalamity

    Well it cleared my acne

  • so wait do i just drink a tbs of coconut oil?

  • @BriannMelo I take 1 tbsp of coconut oil

  • I actually just bought some organic coconut oil today. I knew that it was good for the skin and hair however I didn't know it sped up the metabolism. Do you eat it on a spoon plain or do you eat it with something? Appreciate it and thank you!

  • @Loverlykris10 yeah I've tried that too I have it on hand always i got it at walmart its odorless though, but the pure one is also good we use this back home my grandma makes pure coconut oil from scratch and she also use them if you have body aches or tired muscles, also good for hair, and weight loss
