I had a wisdom tooth removed , 3 dats later I yawned and my Right Posterior Mandible Dislocated ! I drove myself to th ER and the Doctor got a Book out , drugged me ,tryed to set it manually, overdosed me on Pethadine and Valium, 6 hrs later was tranferred to anothr Hospital and assessed and then given a General anaethestic and knocked out cause they could not set it, Was a Fucking nightmare , still dream about it ! The Xray Techinician laughed at me when he took the initial Xray.FUCKKK

I've had to get my jaw "unlocked" a few times and my therapist actually showed me how to do this without the sticks. Never from yawning, once from my son when he was around 9 months old (big baby heads to the jaw hurt).

This only happens to some people nit EVERYBODY I just came from 10 hrs in the ER. I was originally their because I injured my neck, but during an X ray the nurse told me to open my mouth really wide and I got locked jaw. I had FOUR nurses push down and up on my jaw but nothing happened. WORST PAIN EVER!!!
