  • She has a lot of talent for her age!!!! But, any qualified voice teacher with his/her degree in vocal performance and music will tell you that it is not safe for children this young to sing arias. Their voices change so quickly and are so delicate. Constant strain on the vocal chords will eventually ruin her voice years down the road. When she is 18 or 19 she will be able to attempt this aria successfully under the guidance of a good voice teacher. Good Luck!!!!!

  • awesome!! Love her!

  • wow!! shes sooo AMAZING!!!!!!

  • Lovely voice. lovely girl.

  • I cryed. Beautiful, lovely, amazing!

  • She should stop singing arias like this. It's too heavy for her voice, I think.

  • This song is always beautiful, but your daughter Hannah makes it even more marvellous. She has a great voice. Is she perhaps the new Sumi Jo? Who knows!!! :D Congratulations.

  • wow she has a phenomenal voice!!! has she ever had singing lessons or is this all god given talent?

  • She has a wonderful voice for her age!! However, her vocal chords are very fragile right now. She could damage her voice. It's developing and changing all the time. Arias strain the vocal chords at this age and too much strain can cause damage. I'm just concerned. My voice teacher always has the young children sing showtunes and songs of that nature. Later in her teens would be a good time to start arias. So glad she loves opera though. Best of luck to her!!

  • SHe's way too young for this song..and her voice sounds kinda fake...

Maybe in a couple of years she'll do it better...

  • What a beautiful voice. Thanks for posting it.

  • shes really good dont leave mean comments, i bet shes 800000 times better then u guys! xD

  • Wow 0_o your daughter has an amazing voice!! =D dont listin to all the haters becuz this is just strat up amazing!! =D

  • If she is happy that's all that matters.

  • omg i type it wrong again heheheh i meant "WITHOUT YOU"

  • I meant to type with you she wouldnt know what to do you are her mother. Mother knows best! ;)

  • god bless your daughter, god gave her that voice, dont listen to any of the silly comments ppl leave on your site. Those are the haters. Its not child abusive if you instruct your child to use what god gave her you spotted her gift at an early age and its great that you instruct her how to use it because with you she wouldnt know what to do with her voice. you are leading her in the right direction. God Bless!

  • @lovedancin thank you

  • hermoso!!!

  • She is better than the 12 year that I just heard

  • Great!

  • this so cute

  • Doing is this difficult songs at such a tender age is like smoking for your throat. Don't force your voice so much while it's still developing!

  • @arturopablo All those pop singing phenoms are doing way more harm to their voice. Yea the chords are still developing, but this high range is actually quite natural for a young child. Geez, we don't see an outcry with regard to boys choirs. The only problem would be instilling bad habits at a young age.

  • BRAVO!!!

  • wow big voice for a 9 year-old, great potential

  • Very beautiful! but she shouldnt sing such difficult songs. she could lost her voice.

  • This song is way too big for a 9 year to be singing!! BELIEVE ME... I started singing Carmen when I was 14 and I'm suffering the vocal consequences today because of it. Great intonation and tone though - just give it a few years to mature.

  • so cute - very nice.

  • What a bunch of nonsense, Renatta Scotto started at 9 y/o and her first grand opera was "Madamma Butterfly." Can you think of a heavier opera? Well, Ms. Scotto had her professional debut at 16. Just don't push your voice. BTY, you've got a beautiful voice. Just get a good coach and again, don't overuse or push your tender, young vocal instrument.

  • too big.....trust me i'm a vocal major at a top music university.....her voice isn't ready for this voice.....it's going to end up being like charlotte church......she started singing big songs really young and now she has nodes on her vocal chords and can't sing anything at all...i don't even think she has an octave rain.

  • yeah, your right

  • Very nice...but she should take care f er voice...she is still too young!!!

  • My ears O_o

  • Ignore the negative comments, but please take heed of the positive critisms!! Beautiful voice - beautiful, clear and with a lot of potential BUT, and this is a BIG BUT! Stay away AWAY from operatic repertoire - tackle musicals for young voices, arie antique, songs that are written for the young developing voice - opera WILL ruin the voice, opera requires incredible technique, and that is only attainable as the voice has reached adult development. I am happy to discuss further if you like.

  • I am 25 yrs old, I would like to attempt this song. Is your suggestion only for children who attempt these songs?

  • Hi there, I would suggest you attempt this definitely, it is a good aria to work on technical things in that it has a good range. I would suggest learning it with a voice teacher though! :) Always don't try to push your voice, and lauretta is a lighter puccini role so is a great one to tackle... Good luck!

  • @liamandsarah yes I agree I wish her all the best with her singing

  • That sounded beautiful! Don't worry about the ignorant negative comments.

  • thank you...

  • Brava !!

  • woo in her age i only sang live sang christmas songs!

  • why do asians push their children so hard?

    is it child abuse?

  • i don't think we abuse my daugther. She encourage her to pursue and refine her natural skills and gifts...

  • Her voice is amazing. I cant even sing like that and I am 18 years old.

  • Shes too young to be singing this song. The proper is age 18-21 to start even attempting this song.... Because of the amount of energy it takes to sing this song properly. Believe me, I know. I sang it.. Its short, and rather easy to sing, but she could nodes.

  • @Spiceofmadrid wow really you sang it you must be proud of your self....

  • @Petshopgirl72 not really...... it was something my voice instructor wanted me to sing..... i really don't care either way....

  • @Cooplchick67 yeah I think she will go far I love her voice

  • @quadlooptoe you think a little girl singing is child abuse?? wow, you need to read up a bit more on what child abuse actually is. to the parents, she has a beautiful voice:) ignore ignorant people

  • there's an invisible person playing the backing on the piano behind her...

  • That kind of voice should be kept safe and looked after until it has grown of its own accord, being trained gently into shape. Not exposed to this kind of music. Sure, she sang it beautifully, but i can only begin to imagine what kind of techniques she had to use to do so. There is a reason why they don't let people sing operas until they are mature enough - it is gruelling and it can wreck the voice if done wrong. And i agree, she doesn't look like she wants to be there at all.

  • I really did not think that any 9 year old female had this great range and breath control...a prodigy !!! Just some beautiful singing...you go girl...

  • That is simply amazing.... Bravo bravo Bravismo!!!

  • Send that child out to play. A sweet voice, but she ought to be singing "itsy bitsy spider". She does not look as though she's enjoying herself at all.

  • Incredible voice, but she is too young to make such an effort. If somebody takes care of her, she will be a great singer.

  • very beautiful

  • O.O!" WOW... unbelievable!!!" *_*

  • She is absolutely amazing! To be able to sing one of the hardest opera songs in the world at the age of 9 is truly fantastic. She will be a star one day, guarenteed. Simply amazing!

  • Hardest opera songs in the world? Excuse me. For one thing, the term is "aria," and for another, listen to some Wagner. This is simplistic by comparison.

  • Does it really matter, opera song, aria, it really doesn't matter. You really are fussy aren't you. You must be obssessed.

  • It's not at all about being obsessed, Maximillian was just stating the original poster's comment was a little absurd. This piece is far from one of the "hardest" in all of the repertoire.
