Run an inch onto the bridge then run back and the dragon will show up but it won't attack you after it perches itself. (The first time) If you run the bridge twice your dead.

Also after the boss, before to go down the steps smash the two crates at the end of the hall, should be a item on the body, underneath the crates.

this game as i found with demon souls, is way more fun at the beginning of the game. you dont really care about dying becoz ure low geared and leveled and just get emersed int he awesome game design but as you get into the higher levels the bosses overall scale seems to just fade away thus with the minotaur demon here. the game is exceptionally awesome and i hope some of the online issues are attended to especially

If you had bothered to farm 3,000 souls before you killed that merchant, you could have bought the REPAIRBOX.

This item permanently enables you to repair weapons and armor at ANY bonfire.

If you don't buy the only other one in the game in the undead parish you are going to make the game even harder by necessitating a visit to a blacksmith every time your items wear down.

If your really desperate to get an Uchigatana, you can just slay the merchant in Undead Burg and take his. Or if your a bit more patient, there s a corpse in Blighttown that you can loot for an Iaito which has a nice dashing forward-slash attack and a nice Bleed debuff :D
