Awesome video, man! Honestly, your tone is just perfect! I had a question, I know that your 5150 has an alder body and a single humbucker, and so does my Kramer Focus 1000. I've been considering switching the stock pickup out for a Dimarzio PAF and having it directly mounted to the body, but I know that EVH himself has his own Frankenstein pickup wired the way he had wired it himself. I was wondering which pickup you thought would give me more of a "brown sound"?

Totally enjoying all your vids on here Tyler. You are a prodigy as so may others have said. What strat do you start with when you build one? I have a TexMex Fat Strat w/Seymour Duncan HB already there. What is different other than your Floyd Rose and other parts? It looks like you start with a standard 3 pup strat then replace bridge pup with SD humbucker then cover other pup holes plus you eliminate 5 way switch and tone knob. So all you have is volume? Wish I could get mine to sound so hot.
