i liked zherdev he was good player when renny was coaching but than he just sort of disappeared. i would have liked to see him come back the the rangers but he was getting greedy trying to get more money when he is an inconsistent player who didnt have the best season he could have had.  btw this song in the video cracks me up hahaha

and thats pathetic that he was the highest score on the rangers with only 58pts hes def not worth 3.9 million besides the rangers dont have the cap room really for the 3.9 bc they still needed to sign duby and another defensemen and they also sign prospal so no matter how much skill the kid has he has he has no heart and doesnt take the game seriously at times and plays with the puck to much and he played like crap in playoffs when rangers really needed him most so hes def not worth 3.9 million

as a huge rangers fan im not that upset to see him go bc as highly skilled he is he has no heart and beside 3.9 million a yr (offered in his arbitration meeting) is way to much money for someone who scored only 22 goals and 58 total points and i believe he wanted like 4.5million so as skilled as he is it was a smart move on the rangers not pay that money plus the rangers offered him 3.1million and he said no so he got greety.

He's a pre-madonna that could have been a part of one of the best one two punches in the nhl. I've been a hugh fan of Zherdev pretty much since Columbus drafted him. Columbus made a HUGE mistake when they dumped him off, especially since his performance from last year and his overall attitude both in the season there and hte offseason just SCREAMED that he was going to have a breakout year this season. He's proving just how great of a player he is, especially since he's doing much better than the entire current roster here in Columbus. WE MISS YOU NICKY!!!

He's certainly very skilled and kinda reminds me of Kovalev except with more fire. Kovy didn't workout here. Clearly, Zherdev's been the most consistent forward all season while others have struggled. I love his passion. I'm glad Toots is fitting in with the Jackets.
