I live about 15 minutes from the Tunkhannock Viaduct(Nicholson). You obviously passed through the towns of Clarks Summit, Dalton and Factoryville.

Thank you...I was camping just outside of Dushore off Rt 87. I enjoy this form of camping its very efficient low cost outdoor living. Havent spent much time in Laporte. I will have to see if theres camping locations in that area. Thanks for the comment.

it's all nice.. I am wanting to plan some canoe camping trips myself to the Adirondacks and north west PA.. I live in Laporte, but travel around a good part of the state with work and PA is great.. but I never spend much time in the North West corner and want to get over there.. Also upstate NY is very nice, the locals, well not so much.. we are much friendlier in Sul. County.. :-)

I did a camping trip across rt 6 out to lake Eire years ago was cool stayed in state forest all the way across.

Your right I agree with you. I was up there in 72 the after huricane Agnas as a child I remember the devistation left behind. Still some things remain not all is lost. Im a camper so mostly I remember the forrest areas around Rock Run road Sones pond and the town of Forksville. They havent changed as much to me in the past 20 years.

What? Unchanged? The Mill District was all torn down, half of East Main St. burned down; half of West Main St. was torn down. Half of North German St. was torn down; The looks of the builds on Public Square have been greatly improved; as have the buildings on the Center, West Main, South German and Julia Street facings... Dushore has suffered and been treated to major change since 1980.. The face of the town I knew as a child is no more, at least half of the businesses are gone.
