  • This song is a round.

  • 3 dislikes.,...min izobb huma?

  • Anderson at his best.

  • the footsteps are the begining of South Side of the Sky

  • When I think of Kansas, I remember how I was always so strongly attracted to Toto and those damn ruby slippers I pawned..... Sometimes you wish you could go back and do it all again differently....

  • I like the way this album has smaller pieces between the longer pieces. It makes the album very interesting. One of the first Yes albums I bought(originally on cassette and that version didn't have the reprise after "heart of the sunrise)."

  • anyone knows the chords of this song?

  • @Scheuch111 I believe it's just G, E, A, then back to G

  • @Scheuch111

Yes I do. They can be found when you click on ABWH's The Order Of The Universe (well, at least, the vocals can).

  • "He is here..."

  • I think by this point in the album we're not on Earth anymore.

  • @fraroc ...lol...second song of Album...awesome !

  • @gibsg62 third actualy

  • @gibsg62 I understand it is the 3rd song of Album...i see it played as 2nd song in playlists here on youtube...lol

  • @fraroc

And we're certainly not in Kansas!

  • @mrwizard62 XD (Kansas is a great band too!!)

  • @fraroc Yes,they are! Funny, just the other day I was talking about the Kansas "Monolith" album with a Friend of mine, specifically the track "How my Soul cries out for You" I'll bet it's been awhile since anybody heard that track ;-)

  • @mrwizard62 Lol The only tracks I liked on Monolith was "People of the South Wind" and "On the Other Side" But I love Fight Fire with Fire,Carry On Wayward Son, Mysteries and Mayhem, Icarus(bourne on wings of steel) and even Portrait He Knew!! I know all these songs and guess what. Im only 19.

  • When I was 17 this song Elevated me.

  • Love it!!! Greeting's from Mexico!!!

  • 0:50 sounds like a typical Beatles part.

  • It's

tell the March-hare. Tell the Moon-dog

tell the March-hare. Tell the Moon-dog

tell the March-hare. Tell the Moon-dog

My LP skips the first bit, skips the first bit, skips the first bit

  • I want this song to go on forever.

  • PEZZI DI STRONZI, AVETE TAGLIATO LA CANZONE!!!!!!!! MERDE SECCHE!!!!

  • i think it's "Tell the moon, don't tell the marcher" does this sound correct?

  • @fmsdaman1 Yes.

    No pun intended.

    __TheClassicRockKid95__

  • I love this song

  • dont be a queer

    dont be a queer

    dont be a queer

    dont be a queer

  • @SongHooks1993 HAHAHAHA

  • @dkdeu he is queer

    he is queer

    he is queer

    he is queer

    he is queer

    queer as queer

  • @SongHooks1993 ~ Have you ever seen his wife? She's a smokin' Hottie!

  • Tell the Moon-dog, tell the March-hare

Tell the Moon-dog, tell the March-hare

    We...have...heaven

To Look around, to look around

Yes, he is here; Yes, he is here

  • No.

  • what the heck is a march-hare?

  • YES - Pink Floyd

  • Every time I hear this song I think of the summer of 1974!

  • Pure bliss, this tune. Like a soundtrack song to your dreams.

  • hmmm, unless I'm mistaken aren't there running footsteps heard at the end of this song?

  • @TheLeastDiseased yes and I'm miss them!

  • @TheLeastDiseased those are at the beggining of South Side of the Sky

  • @TheLeastDiseased go to Southside of the Sky. they begin there.

  • Yes / Pink Floyd = Best prog rock bands ever

  • @HeavyIronMetalMaiden What about Rush and King Crimson??

  • @MultiDannyboy89 Oh yeah and Rush!! King Crimson is not even on the same level. Aside from their first album, KC is one of the most unmelodious bands I have ever heard. Pure awfulness IMO

  • @HeavyIronMetalMaiden hey man, you cant forget some king crimson, alan parsons project, jethro tull, genesis, EMERSON LAKE AND PALMER! But I digress, prog rock is the best rock!

  • @HeavyIronMetalMaiden And Pink Floyd is better classified under "space rock" a mon avis.

  • Can you imagine what this sounded to a new teenager in 1972, brought up on Beatles, Beach Boys, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, etc... I'll tell you, it was an absolute revelation, that's what it was. Orchestral music for a rock audience. Fragile was the first YES album I ever heard and it is probably still my favourite. No, not CTTE or TFTO, [the other candidates, IMO] but this one.

  • I think the lyrics should be YES IS HERE! not yes, he is here

  • I always thought he was saying "tell the moon to tell the marcher" then i thought he went into saying "tell me your a rounded man"

  • I love this album!!!!

  • Musical L Fucking S D ..................

  • Tell the moon, don't tell the marcher

  • Dear Yes: How come this song isn't 10 minutes long?

  • 29000th viewer

  • An incredible perfect and great song...one of my favourites from The Yes.

And i think Jon has got an angel's voice,anyway...

    Yes forever

  • Shit

  • I wish this kept going for longer..... Hypnotic.....

  • Wait - We've had heaven since 1968? Why the #%^ aren't we sharing it?

  • woooooow, first time i've EVER heard this! and i would not mind to hear more!

  • dno ;x

  • Another epic song off a truly epic album! The whole album!

  • CD cover: it's a ship flying in the sky...

Tell everyone (the moondog the march hare...), "we have spoted land" (we have HEAVEN), it's everywhere you just need to look and open your eyes (look around), YES HE IS HEAR (God, whatever you interprt it ie, IS HEAR)

    It's my personal interpretation.

  • I wonder if Jon was influenced by the Vocal experiments Paul McCartney used on his 'RAM' Album, 'Dear Boy', 'Back seat of my car', 'Uncle Albert' etc both 'FRAGILE' & 'RAM' were issued in 1971.

  • yes is very relaxing music

  • This song I really think was designed to impress , and it sure impressed me being a boy of only 13 years, a simple song and yet a powerful music statement that doesn't bore you. you can hear this over and over and it has the same beautiful effect.

  • @Joeltaa347 Are you dad hit?

  • Tell the moon to tell the marcher

  • @SuperJingoism TELL THE MOON-DOG, TELL THE MARCH-HARE.

  • freakin' awesome ...when we used to sit around and study the album covers ...

  • 1 person has no heaven >:(

  • Excellent video. Nadine

  • This is sooooo, absolutely perfect. If I ever have a band of any significance, this is what we will come out to. Because once you hear this, you are in the mood to hear anything. This is bliss.

  • Radiohead

  • you keep your mouth closed now.........these people have served the cause..............the plummer family helps serves this purpose

  • i translate everything into music........it,s part of my dysfunction!...thank you janet for all the hard work and patience!............you must come and see when we move in..........deer everywhere!..............peg is so very pleased!:.........thank you for helping us achieve this!!,,,,,,,,,-greg-

  • i love this song

  • This isn't the original song off the US 1972 album. Below are two videos of the original. When a kid I always heard it as "tell me a tear" b/c the A sound is there. It may be "tell he is here" and then "tell me a tear". Don't know where people get "moon dog" b/c you can hear the T in "don't"

Tell the moon don't tell the March Hare - I think it's "marcher"

    We have heaven

Do look around - not on original album

    Yes Live: watch?v=xQ4MtARGKGQ

    Video w/ original: watch?v=DbQp_dosMJU

  • favorite

  • Go look around the moon - Sounds like something the Beatles would do

  • Are these lyrics right for this song,Tell the Moon-dog, tell the March-hare

Tell the Moon-dog, tell the March-hare

    We...have...heaven

To look around, to look around

Yes, he is here; Yes, he is here

or is it Tell the Moon, don't tell the march hare?

  • @ureadmymind See my post above. I think we have to ask YES, but listen to the original version. Either way I like the song!

  • @ureadmymind It's moon-dog.

  • @ureadmymind Tell the moon now tell the marcher?

  • @ureadmymind it's definitely tell the moon dog, tell the march hare.. I double checked the lyrics on the record.. such a great song, even better on vinyl :).

  • @ureadmymind I'm pretty sure it is Tell the Moon, don't tell the march hare, but who knows.

  • @ureadmymind Tell the moon-dog, tell the march hare

  • @ureadmymind you had it right the first time. I used to think it was the latter too.

I also think I hear a low voice maybe in the right channel, kind of distorted, saying "here is here" but it might be "he is here"

  • @ureadmymind

    I think he's saying 'marcher', not 'march-hare".

  • @ureadmymind no its "do get around"

  • Nothing better than listening to a Yes ALBUMN by Headphone

  • great quality!!!!!!!

  • excellent Mr. Anderson

  • @txeire hahahahahahaha good one

  • @breedsauce101 why thank u!
