you realy need to know how to handle a rattlesnake your putting way to much pressure on the snake with your foot.you could very easily break ribs people should know how fragile snakes are before they go out and try to be mr. snake guy

Nice Little Black Phase rattler you found there, I'm a Member of the "Keystone Reptile Club". we host 4 annual Snake hunts here In Pennsylvania every year you can become a Member as well. You might want check them out, I've been catching Rattlers over in Elk county and Potter county for years,just a tip, lose the long ass "flat pinning stick", get tongs, and golf club with hook , easier to handle rattlers that way
