Actually you are both right and wrong, and most likely got the facts wrong or did not understood his data.
Yes, he has relations to Greenland, in the form that he was born in Nuuk, Greenland.
But, Greenland is a constituent country of the Danish Kingdom - therefore he is danish !!!
He has danish passport and he did played 80 times on the national team.
He was raised in the city of Thisted, in the north western path of Jutland, before he traveled out in the world of football.
