Hi Pawan,

gradually i am now becoming a big fan of your classes. I agree with elephantal if you could focus slightly more on the strumming. a suggestion here.. i think in one of your song lesssons you teach on going by beats.. like play the down up..skip the third down.. then play up.. skip the fifth down..i think that is the quickest way i could grasp.. would suggest if you could this technique to help understand strumming for your fans..

Pawanji, I am a beginner. Love your videos. I have 3 beginner questions 1) Despite tuning properly, my guitar doesn't sound as melodious as yours - Why? :-) 2) I can follow strumming patterns at slow-speed, but mess it up if I try to speed up even a little. Any advice? 3) My notes gets muted when I try bar chords - my guitar has "tight" strings, as I need to press very hard on the fret board to make a bar chord. Any advice? You are a wonderful teacher! 1 - difficult to answer till i hear it - you guitar cud be just out of tune - or it cud be in bad shape - or u cud be playing it badly - not sure - take it to a teacher or a store perhaps, let them confirm.

2. practise, practise, pratise and it will get better - we have all been thru that ...

3. again - keep practising - this is absolutely normal for a beginner - and people face this problem even after months of training - just keep practising ...
