Hi, i bought the phone for just 20,00 euro. I does everything a phone should do, its tiny and i charge it just every second week.

I am glad that i have it. Today i bouhgt me an B2710 because the B130 does a good job.

hi,

i think the phones require settings on the phone to allow / enable data connection but i could not able to see whats appering on the display bcoz my display has been broken i could not see not even a single character please tell me the settings which i can able to do without my phones display. Hope this helps!!! and please answer thanks. if u can please send me the video or pictures appear on the display while connecting

@gurudazz Samsung B130 does not support syncing with PC. You can check out its specifications. Only thing it would support is charging thru a USB cable. Otherwise its impossible.

Excellent review - I like your on-screen info, thank u for that and could u please show me a video of taking phonebook backup of this samsung b130t using usb data cable and pc suit 3.2.2 that will be more helpfull for me to take my phone book numbers from my broken display phone

@gurudazz Thank you for your positive comments. Actually this phone does not support syncing stuff with PC. I tried it a lot but it doesn't work.

Man it's not Nokia, you can't expect it will be. But it looks usable.

Does nothing? I think it does it pretty a pretty good job at whats it meant to do...i.e. calls and texts.

Well Samsung has its own charm...their low end phones are pretty good...

Forgot to add: was there any lag when typing in text msgs? I text a lot without predictive text, just normal typing, and would like to know if it's fast. Thanks.

Thank you so much...The texting speed is suprisingly quite good...since samsung's phone are "known" for texting lags....i never had typing problems on this one...samsung have changed the interface so that not only the typing is fast the whole menu system is blazingly fast! One point of advice though if you normally want your sent text messages to be saved then don't go for this as there is no option to automatically save sent messages.

The only way you can add ringtones is thru wap (gprs)... and the memory is only 500 kb...so you can't load much..:)

You mean ringtones? I had to download them over wap...memory is about 300 kb so around 1-2 ringtones can be kept at a time.

USB only works for charging this phone and you cannot use it for transferring files etc. For WAP as I already told you below you'll have to contact your cellphone operator to get WAP settings.

a very nice video man...yaar i was also looking for a back up phone to my nokia 6120 classic but some 20 days ago i bought nokia 1209 for rps 2650...hmmm it is a top phone but lacks wap(internet)..seeing ur review i think i acted in haste and shud have bought this one coz it has wap...hey tell me some people say that not every samsung B130 has wap browser...is it true?is the wap browser present in every piece?

Thanks man.. Nokia 1209 is a good fone...i think all B130 have wap browsers...its not advanced browser just a simple one and you cannot install opera on it..cuz it doesnt support java..but samsung b130 is really nice phone..the software is just great...recently i upgraded to samsung b300 but its software is rubbish very slow and texting is a pain even though the keypad build is better than b130.

You can get wap settings from your cellphone company by dialling their helpline etc.
