@elratonbasilon : You can connect both midi (control surface) and audio as well.
For midi connection You need an USB midi interface (Roland or Emu prefered).
Audio part is a bit tricky, code if You have enough time and 2 ch/session is fine You can connect with coax spdif bidirectional, or using ADAT card with the 01v -> ADAT port on the 1616m You will get 8 ch also both way. Last chance is an mLAN card and firewire on the PC (24 Channels).

Anyway the ch 15 fader is working, but it seems to be a self calibration problem...?!
I tested every channel with a cond. mic and everything was seems to be alright.
Oh and I forget to tell You the OS is 1.01 so I MUST update it to 1.06 (as fast as I get the mini-Din stecker - or complete host cable)
I made a fader stress test before I bought it and after that the basic fader test/calibration routine.
But the ch 15 NG error remained.
Do You have any advice on this kind of problem ?

OK I made an initialization first.
LED+button test was ok, but the fader test failed on ch 15 upper position (NG).
After all I bought it on a fair price and I will use 2track in on ch 15 rather than ch15 jack-in.

1.06 is the newest Firmware for the 01V.
You can update it with a serial to pc2 adapter for the 01v.
If you press UTILITY-MIDI-SETUP buttons while power up you see the firmware version in the upper right of the display.
